First, I totally understand a review on a court is not the norm, but here goes!!
I came in to court on a case from a citation I received a month prior, at the time, Lakewood police were very friendly, but due to the situation wrote me a citation in order to get everyone processed but he did say I would be able to talk to someone the day of my first court date. When I went to court the employees up front working the security entrance were very friendly and directed me where to go. The last working the check in window was helpful and nice. Once in court B, the clerk helped me with getting my paperwork for court and offered me so e snacks from a snack basket the courtroom has on hand! I then spoke with the city prosecutor and explained the situation surrounding the citation and after a short conversation he said he was informing the court that they were dropping charges. The judge was joyful and offered snacks once again and got me in and out.
All I can say is Lakewood police and courts are fair and helpful. They have a job to do and I feel they make the best decision given the circumstances at the time. I've never been in a court where they offer you snacks in court. I want to say thank you to the police department and the courts and judge. I hope you all have a blessed year.

When I have a question about zoning or ordinances, they always call me back and are extremely polite and helpful. I love Lakewood!!

Too bad ZERO stars isn't possible! Lakewood Colorado is the typical municipality that has bought into the philosophy of big government. Americans we are headed in the wrong direction and unless and until we unite...we are doomed to lose all our freedoms the fore fathers fought and died for. Vote out these power hungry bureaucrats that are regulating our lives. What happened to justice being blind? These cities like Lakewood only care about revenue and treating the law abiding citizens like criminals. Meanwhile, LE let's shoplifters off scott free. It is outrageous the way ordinary people are treated by those who are supposed to serve and protect! Compassion has flown out the window.

Absolutely the most useless city employees I have EVER DEALT WITH!! I have called about a NON city owned trash can that has been OVERFLOWING for almost 2 years and they REFUSE TO TAKE IT away! Instead when I call (like 6-8 times now) I get pased passed around from one useless do nothing person to another saying it’s not up to them to get rid of it! I said what is the difference in a trash can or a couch or something else that someone dump or fell off a truck? They had no answer for that! Without a doubt the most useless city employees of ANY PLACE I have ever lived!!!!

I’m totally disappointed and disgusted with Jefferson county courts!!!! They think they’re cute not rescheduling a court date when the main witnesses couldn’t be there but the defendant had three warrants they rescheduled for Harmony Walker but I call leave a message saying I couldn’t make it. Did they postponed it for their main witness ? No, go figure that . Kyle didn’t give two cares when I called ? !!!! Your better off just letting ppl wreck your stuff and be ok with it ?

I had a simple ticket to dispute. I followed instructions given to me over the phone. The receptionist who originally helped me acted put out when I had another question regarding the process.

I realize you work with all walks of life, and all should be treated with decent respect and spoke to with tact. I'm incredibly disappointed with the city I pay taxes to if this is how they treat their citizens.

I would argue a simple change in tone would go a long way with how you're received and approached. A discussion needs to be had with your team.

Customer service is customer service, no matter who you're serving.
