Our child age 21 and myself have been students at Worthington Martial Arts for several years now. The program and the leadership has taught my son how to tackle life issues and how to solve them through the principles that are taught in the school. He has changed so much over the years and now my son will be graduating with an Electrical Engineering degree and starting his career at Honda. We are so grateful to GM and the staff that helped my son achieve his goals. We highly recommend this school to everyone, it will change your families life.

I started martial arts when I was just 7 and immediately felt included and challenged. Over my years there I learned valuable life skills including: perseverance, respect, self-control, patience, determination, and responsibility. The program structure encourages students to strive to be the best version of themselves. To date, earning my second dan is my greatest accomplishment. It wasn't just getting the belt, but the journey and people I met along the way that made the experience memorable.

Both of my children, ages 11 and 8 have been students at WMAI for the last two years. We have had an absolutely amazing experience. Both of my kids were struggling with confidence when they started and they have grown so much. The teachers at WMAI are all so thoughtful and experienced. Most are also still students and I truly love the environment of teaching is learning. It is a positive, yet disciplined approach that meets students where they are at. Our experience at WMAI has been nothing short of amazing and I suggest it to anyone looking for a quality martial arts experience.

My daughter, now 10 years old, has been taking classes at WMAI for two and half years. We have nothing but amazing things to say about the staff and programs. Grandmaster Scarbrough, Master Stephanie and many others from Leadership do an outstanding job engaging all the students. They not only teach the physical aspect of Taekwondo, but they instill a sense of confidence, focus, and discipline in their students. My daughter has gained more self respect and respect for others while truly enjoying herself in classes and at special events. As a parent, watching your child grow in character while in this program brings a level joy and peace within. We are so thankful to have signed up for a trial class and found a community at WMAI.

Bonus info: Scheduling classes each week is easy with choosing from two options that fit based on our schedule.

Good to keep kids active, fit. I do see the difference in my son right from second session.

Rules he recalls Everytime and the first rule did influence him.

I have been attending classes at WMAI with my two sons for over 10 years. WMAI does more than teach martial arts in an engaging way that challenges your body and mind - it is also a leadership school. I’m so appreciative of the program that Grandmaster Scarbrough and Master Stephanie and the rest of the instructor team run, and grateful for the confidence, discipline, and positive mindset my kids developed.

I was looking for a taekwondo school for my daughter when showed she showed interest. I decided to enroll my her at WMAI since the staff was dedicated to teaching discipline and leadership as a part of her martial arts training. It has been 15 years and she is still taking classes.  Both Grandmaster Scarbrough and Master Stephanie are very professional and respectful.
I highly recommend WMAI if you or your child are looking for a martial arts school that goes beyond technique and builds leaders.
