We've been looking for a healthy family activity for a while and Strickland's Martial Arts has really helped tick all the boxes. We get our weekly workout in, learn skills that are applicable in real life, and we bond as a family over how we progress over the months. It's a great time and the kids learn to channel their energy into a positive learning experience. It's also very inclusive. There's room for everyone here. I always feel welcome and wanted. The instructors are great too. Not only are they highly skilled they also go out of their way to make sure you're doing your personal best. Can't recommend highly enough.

We love this place! The staff is wonderful, they genuinely care about the kids and I always feel they’re safe when I drop them off here. Mr Strickland is almost always teaching in class (even with the littles), in addition to accomplished/skilled assistant teachers. They foster a positive atmosphere, employ various styles of martial arts and are passionate about empowering their students. They teach a variety of skills, self defense and the ability to escape unwanted situations. If my son could come here every day of the week, he would. I have significant expectations when it comes to quality and training and they exceed all of them. They are professional, have a clean facility, exceptional training quality and are organized, but most importantly, they truly care about each student. Highly recommend.

We are very happy with Strickland’s! Our daughter has experienced the perfect combination of compassion and challenging instruction since starting classes. She has learned life skills beyond martial arts and is also confident in her blossoming martial arts skills. What we love about Strickland's Martial Arts is their emphasis on teaching discipline and consistency! The entire staff, including Mr. Strickland, are professionals who teach various skills that help kids feel confident. Our daughter has been attending for over two years and is always excited to go to class. The environment is warm and the people are very friendly.

Another great aspect of this place is the offering of unlimited classes (five days a week), which is very flexible with school schedules. We feel lucky to be part of Strickland's Martial Arts!

Stickland's has been such a confidence booster for my son. It's teaching him physical fitness and the consistent ability to level up helps him show how his efforts result in success. Most importantly, the instructors are incredible - they're very hands-on, constantly tracking where each student is and providing 1x1 guidance when necessary. One of the best schools in town. Mr. Strickland has a passion for teaching and most importantly one for learning too. He’s open to learning and this is also exhibited by the young team of assistant instructors. That create and fosters an environment where it’s not just martial arts you’re learning, but also how to solve problems in real life. I got the whole family signed up and everyone is happy. In fact I’d suggest this to everyone, join in as a family and you’ll get more education than your money’s worth!

I had the opportunity to visit this facility for a three day seminar hosted by the owner. The building was, spacious and clean. But what really stood out was the professionalism and proficiency of his students and staff. Their overall positivity and attitude could not possibly have happened by default. It had to be molded by someone possessing exceptional team building skills. If you are looking to introduce your children to martial arts, you should consider what Strickland Martial Arts has to offer ?

My son and I took courses here. What a great place to learn martial arts. Never the same thing over and over. All the instructors are very skilled and train you up on a variance of martial arts which made things fun. George can tailor his training based on anyone’s physical capabilities. There were times this hurt or that hurt and I was able to get great training regardless. His training is well structured and this a great environment to get your training.
