Mr. Hartman and Mrs. Merrill are awesome. The provide great feedback not only to the students, but also the parents. They also seek our feedback to make sure that what we are seeing is good leadership on their part. My son went from being bullied to a confident strong young man under their leadership and has grown immensely through the leadership program.

I came across a Facebook offer for Star Martial Arts and thought would try it out. Having buys remorese, I reached out the very next day and asked for my money back. I was hesitant and thought this must be too good to be true. Mr. Hartman asked us to "give us chance and if we do not knock your socks off, we will give you a full refund!" Needless to say, our socks were knocked off, three of our five children started classes. Our youngest had one class and is working on being brave to go back. Even my husband (42) has started to attend Star Martial Arts. All are enrolled in the Black Belt Club! This has been the best extra curricular activity that our children have been a part of. We are more than pleased with the life lessons they are being taught. They are shown how to hold oneself with confidence, listen the first time-every time, and showing respectful for ones-self and others. They are also taught self defense skills, how to work as a team, and to be disciplined in all they do. We especially love that the instructors work closely with the child(ren) and family to reach common goals. Totally worth it!

Stars Martial Arts is great, not only for kids but for the family. The instructors truly take their time with each person, even during group classes. My son has grown and learned so much since first starting.

I love star martial arts because it shows self discipline and self defense to everyone that comes to this school. They always make you feel welcome no matter the age. I have my 2 kids in star martial arts and they have come a long way with learning new skills and having better behavior.

My son has been with Star Martial South Bend for almost 2 years now and it has been the best experience and him and our family! Not only has he gained a passion he hasn't had before but he's learned to work hard and be accountable for his actions. It has been the best decision to sign him up for martial arts. The instructors are absolutely amazing with their teaching techniques. Mrs. Merrill has been at South Bend location for 2 years and has helped guide so many children to their highest potential. Mr. Hartman brings a fun and exciting energy to the mat as well. You will not regret signing your child up!
