Best new gym in the city by far. Led by high-level former pro-fighter(s), this is a place you can both learn and grow, beginners and experts alike. Everyone at the gym (including all the students!) are friendly and welcoming. Shout out to the competition jiu jitsu class and the weight lifting coach ?

My cousin and his wife (Gaston and Molly) are regulars at this gym. They invited me to go train Muy Thai with them and at first, I was very nervous. The same feeling you’d experience when you’re going to the gym for the first time ever. Upon entering, everyone was super friendly and very welcoming to a newbie like myself. Stefan was also very welcoming and friendly, asking how the training session went. I appreciate everyone making me feel welcomed during my time there!

If I could give a million stars I would. I've been to a couple boxing, MMA, jiujitsu gyms and this gym has never made it feel like just a place to sweat, but instead of wonderful community of open individuals. Whether you're looking to compete or just casually learn a new sport, Stefan and his group of instructors make the content easy to understand and also challenging and fulfilling at the same time.

I joined to casually learn and immediately fell in love with competing. Stef is an amazing coach who ensures you feel comfortable and supported no matter what the outcome. No matter how near or far you're competing, he's there to support and coach.

Typically in MMA gyms, it's hard to find someone my size as a woman. Skrappack Marina has an amazing women's class and great group of ladies who just love to roll and drill.

A great gym for people from young to old and all levels of experience! I travelled through San Francisco and was lucky to find Skrap Pack. Stefan is the heart and soul of this gym, he and the other coaches are really professional making it their goal to share their knowledge and teach proper Martial Arts.
I spent 2 weeks intense training and was able to really focus on technique and expand my repertoire . It was a great training community that welcomed me instantly.

as a total jujitsu newbie, walking into gym on Union Street felt like stepping onto another planet. But the moment Brittney and Stef, the awesome owners, greeted me with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm, I knew I was in good hands. They weren't just instructors; they were like coaches.

The community there was incredible. Everyone, from seasoned black belts to fellow white belts like me, treated me with respect and encouragement. There was no ego, just a shared passion for learning and a camaraderie that made every session a blast.

The gym itself was a haven for self-improvement. It was clean, spacious, and perfectly equipped, with a vibe that was both serious about training and friendly enough to make you want to hang out long after class. The instructors, Brittney and Stef, were masters of their craft. They broke down complex techniques into understandable steps, corrected mistakes with patience, and always pushed me to reach my potential. I never felt lost or overwhelmed, just challenged and inspired.

In just a few short weeks, ive has become more than just a gym; it's become a second home. The confidence I'm gaining on the mat is spilling over into other areas of my life. I'm stronger, fitter, and most importantly, I'm having a blast.

So, if you're looking for a fantastic jujitsu experience, whether you're a seasoned warrior or a wide-eyed newbie like me, Jon Union Street is the place to be. This gym is an absolute five-star experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, supportive, and life-changing workout.

Finally a gym like this comes to the Marina! I have been wanting to take a self defense class for a while, and didn't know where to look...until I came across Skrap pack while walking on union street. I signed up immediately! I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the gym, the professionalism and most important I felt the training and techniques were spot on. I'm a newbie...and the teacher made understanding these moves easy and I instantly feel more empowered(and safer as a woman walking around in the city). I can't wait to advance my skills.
