Kids not being made to bring all their gear such as headgear and mouth pieces makes it harder for the kids that brings all their gear to learn appropriately. The coach is great and does the best he can with what they bring but we all pay and want our kid to get the most out of. Been coming here for a long time now and the changes are not for the better. Seating is awful. My son has gained lots of confidence throughout his time here and trust the coach in his teachings so I do not want to switch gyms.

Waste of time school don’t have no heat. Unprofessional coaches. Do not recommend at all. Coach Hembrick a dude from South Dallas a professional coach ? What kind of silliness is that. First day of trial and the kids were disrespectful because the coach initiated it. This place do not build kids self esteem up but instead tear it down. RUN ?‍♀️ far away save your kids esteem with positive encouragement not negative.If I can give zero star I would. Thanks for a waste of a hour I can not get back. However, I’m glad to know about how your business operates with ignorance.

my name is crystal i am 25 years old...my experience here was amazing, i went for a month just to try it out..the coach and his wife were so friendly and the coach is so good . if I didn't understand a skill, he will help me until I finally got it.. he was also very respectful. I will surely go back again. I felt very welcoming and everyone was very friendly. all the guys were also respectful.

Professor and all of the instructors are very patient but firm. Great environment for children to learn new lessons and how to apply in life. Family oriented and you will become part of the SFS family!

I've been training here for 15mos, and it's been excellent. The coaches are patient and helpful, and Professor Salangsang is the real deal. I came in concerned about my age and my history of injuries from the military and firefighting. Everyone has been cool with showing me alternate techniques to accommodate. I'm down almost 50lbs and haven't been this mobile in years.

I've been to several open mats in the area, and they've all been great - but I would choose SFS over all of them.

I can't say enough about these wonderful people ! They genuinely love the kids ! Professor teaches with encouragement and love. When one of them cries or has a problem he sits everyone down and talks to them about winning and losing like a great Father would do. And everyone loves Joe he's so cool !! Being here has given my son such confidence !!! I just wish I would've found this place sooner ! Do your kids a favor...take them here !!
