Mr Ray Amanat has visited my DARE camp for kids and trained with the students for more than 15 years. He keeps the student’s attention with fun and usable drills that will have them prepared to keep themselves safe in the future. This year I got the opportunity to train one on one with Ray to improve my restraint techniques for Law Enforcement applications. He is an excellent source of knowledge for children and adults alike. This amazing gentleman was our guest speaker in Hernando for Teachers in Action in-service. His story is heart wrenching and his bullying/hero presentation is like no other. Several attendees were moved to tears. The presentation focuses on how anyone can be a hero, teaches students and teachers how to use their voice and words to stop a bullying situation. If I could give him 500 stars, I would.

I attended one of Ray's seminars with my daughter. The self defense class was invaluable. Taking the time to invest in ourselves and our safety was informative, interactive and fun. Being more aware of our surroundings and learning how to not give the power to the criminals was eye opening. I will definitely be taking more classes with Ray to keep my skills fresh and learn new tools.

Tonight Heros in Action came to our clubhouse in Holiday, FL. I am 60 years old. I learned not to think like a victim and to always scan my surroundings. I leaned what to scream to attract people and that my responsibility is to get to a safe zone. I would highly recommend this program to people of all ages and abilities.

Love this organization! The woman’s self defense classes are informative and fun. I have learned so much with these classes and They have increase my confidence level. Ray is a great instructor and breaks things down so everyone of and shape and size or physical ability can learn and participate. My Girl Scout troop had ray speak at a meeting. The girls learned so much and fun doing it. They got to practice the technique and felt more empowered by the end of it! The children seminars are also available and great for all types of topics! stranger and bullying are real issues that are scary and ray helps enforce that the kids don’t have to have to be victims that they can be heroes too!

I am so happy that I was given the opportunity to take my 2 grand daughters to the Hero's In Action for Children's class. I was so impressed with Ray Amanat and how he talked and worked with the kids and parents in the class. He made it easy and fun for them to understand and learn. I also learned a lot and talked with their parents on how to make a family plan should an incident occur.
Let's face it, in todays world, you never know when you may encounter a potentially dangerous situation. IMO, you can never be prepared enough but with Ray's "tools", you will be better prepared!
