We are a new family to Sarez Martial Arts and we are absolutely in love with the classes and environment. Our four year old daughter is attending classes and Master Jay is absolutely wonderful. He understands her shyness and always meets her where she is at for the day. He encourages her and she opens up and flourishes there. The environment is so positive. The older kids cheer her on the entire class and make her feel apart of the group. I have a smile on my face the entire time we are there. I am so excited to watch her grow and thrive at Sarez. ❤️

5 reasons that Master Jay and Sarez Martial Arts deserve five stars!

First Star: Pricing
Sarez Martial Arts has an affordable program and NO! contract required, you may simply come and go as your schedule demands. You will pay a monthly fee, but if you decide that you need to take a few months off, simply let Master jay know and he will remove you from the automatic payments. If you decide after a few months you want to come back, no problem! He will welcome you back without any issues. I believe if it were possible Master jay would offer free taekwondo training to the community. Unfortunately it is not possible to do it for free so Master jay, does the next best thing and keeps his prices as low as possible to allow people from all income brackets to participate.

Second Star: Passionate instructor!
Master jay has been studying taekwondo for more than 30 years. Master jay has a great smile and fun personality, often times he has a big smile on his face as he is teaching a class. Master jay has a fun and positive approach to training. He also has a fun sense of humor and I have found myself laughing out loud many times during training sessions.

Third Star: Training Facility
Sarez Martial Arts has recently moved to a new location with a larger training area to give students more space to practice. This training facility has plenty of equipment for everyone to use Including punching and kicking bags, Pull up bars, A rock climbing wall for kids, and much more!

Fourth Star: No pressure!!!
Master jay understands that everyone grows and progresses at different rates! I have watched Master jay take a gentle approach with one student who just didn’t feel comfortable or ready to meet the challenge, and at the same time challenging another student who looks forward to complicated challenges. Master jay has a good feel for when to push a student and when to let them come to it naturally.

Fifth Star: My Happy Daughter!
my daughter started with a six week trial program and she absolutely loved it! After the first class, my daughter was so excited that she talked about her experience the entire car ride home. By the time we had completed the six week trial program my daughter was convinced that she wants to stay in taekwondo, Learn from Master jay, and someday become an instructor! So with that being said, I will say that Master jay, and Sarez Martial Arts, has made my daughter happy and for that I am truly thankful.

My son has been going to Master Jay’s class now for approximately 9 months and absolutely loves going. Master Jay is excellent with children of all age groups by encouraging them to be respectful, to do things correctly the first time and by giving them the motivation to succeed. My son started off thinking he was going to be a ninja overnight. Obviously that wasn’t the case. However, I have watched him grow both in and out of this class. He has been more respectful and tries harder to get things right the first time. He is also learning to be accountable for his actions. Our goals for putting him in Taekwondo were to have him learn to defend himself some he’s in the smaller side, but also to learn discipline, hard work, respect and how to succeed. Master Jay has not disappointed. I would recommend his class to anyone. And the new facility is really great!

I’ve been doing taekwondo for over 7 years, and Sarez Martial Arts is where I started. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! Master Jay is a great and knowledgeable instructor who’s very good with young beginners. He’s supportive with peoples goals and is encouraging with everyone.
The Sarez Martial Arts community is so kind and welcoming to newcomers. I’ve made so many friends here, which has made my taekwondo experience so much better! If you're looking for new friendships, this school is the place to go!
