Apparently when you get a past due amount in August pay it two days later and said my water was cut off. Never seen another bill until October never had my water cut off paid the bill and now have to pay the deposit. Person on the phone said the $181.00 was the deposit but now got to pay another deposit of $145.00. lucky for us we just got to take it up the rear and do this all over again.

Horrible place. They charge for everything. To get service restarted they are wanting a deposit of $145 which is ridiculous and the past due amount in total $445. Not even my light bill is that high.

Price Gouging at it's best. How can your water bill go from $168 one month to $331 the next without watering yard at all. Seriously?!? The worst Texas city I've ever had the non-pleasure of living. Can't wait for the day when I say, "Happiness is seeing San Angelo, Texas in your rear view mirror.". Thanks Mac Davis for the thought.

Well here we are again. Edit 2. My bill came and thanks to the covid pandemic I didn't notice the mess up last month but definitely noticed it this month (05/27/20) my water usage has apparently multiplied by six (6) not an exaggeration, by six, and by the exact to the penny amount 2 months in a row. Concerned there was a mistake since I hadn't used more water than normal, and believing it would be obvious if I had a leak of 400 gallons of water A DAY I called them. I don't think I have ever spoken to someone so rude and unhelpful, and I have a 7 and 8 year old and have worked retail and service jobs. I was upset I couldn't give them a 0 star but at this point that would still be to many. -5 ?

Edit. they have once again been hacked and now we have a nearly $200 charge from a new York steak house we have to deal with... To repeat, Hacked. AGAIN

Paid my bill ahead of time, got charged full bill again on due date. Can't unsubscribe from Auto draft even though it's double charging me, tried calling gave up after 15 minutes waiting for someone to pick up. Now I'm going to have to try and get my bank to block it. Terrible terrible company, the embarrassment of San Angelo.

The employees of the San Angelo City Water Department are great, hard working, friendly local people. They do a great job with setting up new accounts in person and over the phone. I've been a customer with multiple accounts now for many years and I'm very pleased with the service. Our water rates compared to the rest of the country are very low. I am surprised our Trash is billed in with our water and only cost what it does. I moved here from Alabama where we pay about $45 a month just for trash pick up so I was pleasantly surprised by the low rates for that as well. The communication between Republic (Trash Service Company) and the city could be better. I've been told to call Republic a few times and was not happy to have to deal with Republic. Overall these guys are great and do a nice job for the residents of San Angelo.

Ive lived in different states as well as different cities in Texas. Ive NEVER had such expensive bills, BS extra charges and this is the worst water quality EVER! I got a bill for 106.19 for September. Paid it. Get a late statement. Called and they said it was their mistake. Today I got a disconnect notice. FOR THE SAME 106.19. I call and she said it wasnt paid and my water would be turned off tomorrow if I did not pay it. I told her I have screen shots of not only my online water account showing it was paid, but also my bank statement. The lady then said "you had the exact monthly charge two months in a row, that's why its the same. Uhm no maam. I can see my bill and you are wrong. But, what choice do i have. Cant be with out water
