My 5 year old son and I both attend Reveal Martial Arts in Southlake and we really love it. The instructors are top-notch and do a great job in each class. In the ninja class, I observe them being patient and adjusting their instruction to meet the needs of their students, while also ensuring everyone is learning and growing in their martial arts. The adult class provides a great workout, along with teaching you all the fundamentals of taekwondo. Various belt levels attend class and the instructors are able to ensure everyone is being challenged based on their skills and abilities.

My husband found Reveal Martial Arts in a panic when his schedule changed and we needed summer care for our son. We have never had him in a camp or childcare that wasn’t school or family. He went for 5 weeks this summer and LOVED it! It peaked his interest in karate so we did a 4 week trial that he also LOVED so now we are in for the next year and couldn’t be happier!!!

Update: my son has been going to reveal classes twice a week since August. He is now a yellow belt and he feels so confident! Watching him progress each class is fantastic. The staff and owners are so supportive, it’s such a lovely place to be. My son said today he will be sad to miss karate while they are out on Christmas break

My 5yr old had some trouble with coordination and core strength and though he had been begging to go to karate since watching several TV shows with ninjas it was when his doctor recommended we go through with it we decided to look for a studio. We went to 3 different highly rated studios in the area and helped our son make a list of the good and bad in each to decide where to go. He chose Reveal not only because he liked the structure in the class (it's not just a glorified gym class, they actually learn technique, real marital art forms and respect for one another without being cobra kai like) but his first class he earned a stripe for his belt and the self pride in that act alone was convincing to try it out. The classes are small which I think is good because they really focus on the kids and gently adjust each into the lessons when there's lack of focus. They also do fun challenges like obstacle courses before class, and they have a leadership program in which older kids have to sometimes co teach the class for the littles; it reminds me of the scouts where kids help other kids by example. After just a month of classes, our son's dr has been incredibly impressed with the strengthening of his coordination and his spatial awareness. I love the positive reinforcement in the class. When ever they bow to each other they always say "Yes I can!"
There's also a parent's group online that is great for asking questions and hearing uplifting stories as well. The owners are very responsive and willing to work with you if you have budget constraints because it's obvious they want your kid to be empowered and enjoy the class than take your money. Great place and clean as well. Highly recommended.

We have had an incredible experience at Reveal. My kids look forward to their bi-weekly lessons! It has built their confidence and most importantly discipline (including manners). All of the instructors are excellent and truly care about the students. Highly recommend checking them out!

Mr. Garcia is a phenomenal Chief Instructor supported by an awesome instructional staff. I absolutely cherish my time training under and teaching with Mr. Garcia at his school. I love seeing the students grow and transform into more confident leaders and athletes. These instructors do a wonderful job of blending traditional martial arts training with life skills and leadership qualities for each and every student. I highly recommend this program!

Before we started our Grandchild at Reveal Martial Arts Southlake, although he was naturally athletic, he seemed to lack a focused direction. Also, being a little small for his age, he would lack the confidence he should have when around others. We thought that enrolling him in a martial arts program would not only give him that confidence, but also focus his athletic ability. We tried out several studios, but he immediately picked Reveal Martial Arts of Southlake as the studio he wanted to attend. Since his enrollment, his confidence has increased with each belt he has earned. His focus and athleticism have also increased with each class. He looks forward not only to each class, but the camps, super sessions, and all the other opportunities that Reveal offers. But not only is Reveal Martial Arts head and shoulders above the other studios that we visited in the training and atmosphere of the martial arts world, but they are head and shoulders in fostering the character side of a child's development. They offer leadership classes that go hand in hand with the physical rigors of martial arts training with the character-building development that is just, if not more, crucial in a child/teens development. Reveal Martial Arts Southlake, in my opinion, is easily the best of the best!

Reveal Martial Arts is the best place for kids to learn Karate. The owners are extremely dedicated to the program and they come up with new ideas all the time to improve the program even better. Kids would like to come back to classes because they have fun and dedicated instructors and that influences kids to come back to classes each day

Reveal martial arts class has really helped our 9 year old. He was a very emotional kid with limited discipline and almost no drive for anything other than YouTube and video games. He is now more focused & has a new drive to work hard in other areas. We see him practicing martial arts in his free time, hear less complaining about helping around the house, and in general he seems like a happier kid. He receives a lot of encouragement during class, has new friends, and enjoys working under new mentors. He wants to work hard for them and his self esteem has blossomed!
