Premier Martial Arts is very professional establishment. There are many Martial Art studios around, but it's hard to know if they will meet expectations. This is the third different Martial Arts program we have tried for our boys (9 & 10) over the years, and by far the best. We gladly drive by 2 other closer studios every time we come here. PMA takes a holistic approach to their program. It's not just about learning the Martial Art, it's about discipline, exercise, responsibility, respect, goals, and more. They start the classes with affirmations and end with showing respect. It's not all seriousness though. They usually have a group game at the end of every class. The classes are nice and small so instructors can give students the attention necessary. Belts and promotions are earned and not just handed out, which I am a fan of. The staff is very professional and attentive. Zac, Matt, and Joe are great at their positions and compliment each other very well. If you're looking for a Martial Art studio, look no further. I did not get paid for this review, I am just really impressed with this place. ?

I decided to enroll my son in this class after talking with coach Zac and hearing about all the positive things it would offer. He's only been attending for a couple months now and not only does he love going to class to learn new techniques from coach Kru but I'm already noticing he's more respectful, responsible and motivated to help out at home. All the instructors are great with the kids and have been very positive roles models for my son. I highly recommend PMA SouthHB!

Premier Martial Arts - South Huntington Beach is an exceptional program that empowers students to become self-disciplined, confident, respectful and resilient leaders. Kru Nelson and Coach Zac are extraordinary teachers and my son Ethan looks forward to each lesson. I highly recommend PMA and I’m excited to see Ethan advance to Black Belt in the years to come.

My son absolutely LOVES coming to PMA! He is a very active kid and this is such a great way to focus his energy. He is learning not only about self defense, but also how to control his body and think before he acts. It’s been truly amazing watching him grow and mature through martial arts.

We have nothing but positive things to say about Premiere!
We came here on the recommendation of a longtime friend and have been incredibly impressed. Coach Matt has infectious energy and is PHENOMENAL with kids. How he does it consistently is beyond me! The dojo has become like family. Both my 5 yr old and 8yr old say this is their favorite activity over any other sport and they especially love learning weapons!
The kids don't just learn martial arts- they learn self- defense, discipline, respect, and are expected to behave at home and school as well in order to progress.

It all started with an advertisement on Facebook. Didn't know what to expect, but our first meeting with Kru and Coach Zac in the park on Star Wars day and seeing how well Timmy did I had to keep him going. Since we started Timmy has been way more polite, helpful, and confident. I can't wait to see him grow. The Premier team makes everyone matter and feel like family. It doesn't hurt to try, you never know you might get hooked!!!

Premier Martial Arts has been such a fantastic outlet for both my children. My daughter is 3 and my son is 5 and they are absolutely loving martial arts. They are learning important life skills that will protect them against strangers in the real world, as well as, giving respect to elders and peers. Their listening skills have drastically improved. Thank You Premier Martial Arts for creating an environment where my children and can learn and excel!
