If you want to learn self defense, this is the place! I had seen the advertisement on Instagram for the women’s 5 weeks beginners classes. At first I was nervous but coach Brandon and Jasmine made me feel comfortable learning and belonging in the class. I left feeling excited for the next class! I met a bunch of ladies and made new friends. I finished class famished and had the ‘black belt’ açaí bowl made by Kiana, it was so yummy and replenished me! Can’t wait to continue my jiujitsu journey!!

I've been bringing my 8 year old son here for the last 3 months in the boxing class with coach Sharif and he's turning my son into a boxer faster than j thought. He gained a lot of confidence and has gotten stronger from the training. Everyone that trains with coach Sharif has a lot of respect for him and he does an amazing job and there is no other coach that teaches like he does. I highly recommend this coach

The first time I spoke with a of few of the employees and the Coaches they have been very helpful and nice. I like that they have different options for the classes they have. Wrestling Jitsu Boxing etc. Sharif the boxing Coach I appreciate how he Motivates the Students in his class I can tell he really wants the best for his students he keeps it real with them. He pumps them up to get very worked up into their workout, and Boxing also sparring.

Coach Sharif with Junior Boy Boxing is the greatest boxing coach I've ever seen! He turned me into a fighter in just the span of a couple months and showed genuine care for me, and my growth. Great boxing gym.

I am so glad I did the 5 week jiujitsu all girl program at open mat! I had such a great experience learning new techniques and getting to know a lot of wonderful people. Coach Brandon is seriously the best coach! He is very patient and helpful with all his students. He is very knowledgeable in this sport and makes jiujitsu really fun and exciting. Thank you soo much open mat for giving me an opportunity to learn something new in such a great environment. I will deff continue my jiujitsu journey here at open mat academy!

Open Mat Academy is a Amazing facility, top equipment and great environment. Good service with friendly staff and super clean and comfortable gym for everyone and if you’re looking to get in shape, learn self defense or become a high level competitor OMA is for you!
I love Zumba, but I think what makes it so magical is Ms. Felicia ability to make the act of working out not only enjoyable, but something to look forward to. Ms.Felicia have made me a better person and dancer and I owe it all to YOU. So thank you, Felicia from the bottom of my heart.

I had just completed the 5 week women's program course yesterday and I must say that it was one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life! At first, I felt so intimidated as it was out of my comfort zone but coach Brandon and Jasmine made me feel so comfortable in learning the basics and fundamentals of jiu-jitsu. I learned so much within the short week but also had so much fun practicing and rolling with the ladies! I look forward to continuing my jiu-jitsu journey with my girls and husband (who are already in the program) and excited to learn more. If I could give this rating beyond a 5 star I would! The gym is very family friendly! All the staff are so nice and supportive of one another! I highly recommend trying them out! 🙂
