On our way out of town last weekend my friends and I decided to stop by the restaurant/lounge in the hotel for a quick lunch and we were blown away! Our server was very attentive and helpful, I think her name was Gracie. She made great suggestions and went above and beyond to make our experience great. On top of that , the chef Trevor took the time to come out to our table and check on us. What we thought would be a quick bite turned into a culinary experience! The brussel sprouts were amazing, and I usually don’t even like brussel sprouts. I also ordered the Rueben and it was one of the best Rueben sandwiches I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Omaha!

Hotel itself was nice, but service is greatly lacking, and the lack of service comes from the very top of the hierarchy with Carlo the general manager. While staying there, there was an issue and the power was out all night. The front desk staff didn't handle the situation very well and gave blank stares when asked for updates. They also yelled at me for taking "too many" free muffins the next morning, although I only had one per person (2 total). Even after that beratement, I did not get an apology when they finally counted to 2 for both muffins and people. There were also other instances that made me question whether the front desk people had an ounce of kindness or humility in their bodies. I understand the power outage was out of their control, but they also refused to inform guests of updates or make us more comfortable that night. When I checked out I asked to speak to the manager, and was told that he would give me a call. It's been a month, and I have called him, Carlo, over 5 times, and still no response. I've even called corporate customer service and they have left him messages asking him to get in touch with me. At this point, I am being straight up ignored. For a general manager to not even give a call back to just talk about my experience shows he is definitely not interested in improving any guest's experience here--he's only focused on shutting people up if they don't have a great time.

A hundred fifty nights a year in hotels and the service and friendliness of the staff here highlight good old fashioned midwest values. From DW at breakfast greeting us with friendly chatter and genuine concern for getting our day going smoothly to Krystal at the front desk checking us in, everyone here just has a manner about them that evokes a good feeling. The rooms are clean and updated. The location is perfect for just about anything in downtown OMA.

Whenever we are in the area and need a place to stay the Omaha Marriott is the place. Beds, pillows, cleanliness, and all things are above and beyond

Rita in the conceirge and Ian with guest experiences are both EXCELLENT!! We’ve been on a first name basis since we met. She remember my favorite drink and he remembered everything I needed for our event. They are not relational and lovely people. Because of them, my work experience was better than imagined.

Perfect location for convention. I came here to do a speech for a national convention being held. The staff is incredibly friendly and very helpful. The facility was very clean and modernized. The convention rooms were top-notch. Everything was well organized, and the staff worked gently to keep things moving quickly and effortless.

My recent stay at the Ogallala Holiday Inn Express was better than this. My wife and I needed to use our points so we got the highest rated, most expensive hotel we could find. $350 got us a room that was not at all bigger, a bed that was not the same Marriott quality as other hotels, an iron that left stains on my pants due to the calcium buildup, and empty shower bottles just when my wife needed them most. When I shell out this kind of money, I expect better quality, especially from Marriott.
