Been a member here going on 3 years. Marcio is a great coach. He can break down any move and walk you thru it so it’s easily understandable. The gym have a great vibe in that it’s competitive but not overwhelming. Everyone is there to help everyone else get better.

Both my sons go and they aren’t always the best listeners. All the coaches have great patience with them. All the coaches are great examples for them and good role models.

About a month ago I ended up stuck in Phoenix for a day due to a flight delay and this gym happened to be walking distance from my hotel. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, the gym was clean, they even provided my friend and I with gis and the correct colored belts to wear. The people I got to roll with were world class. I would love to train here again one day and would absolutely recommend this gym. Thank you again for the hospitality!

My 7 year old son has been going for almost 2 years and he still loves it. We started him because he was having a lot of trouble getting distracted at school. It has been awesome to see how he has grown in his focus and ability to listen. The coaches have all been awesome with him and so patient with all the kids.

Marcio and Brenda are amazing and it is clear how much passion they have for sharing their love of BJJ with the community.

My husband just joined a couple weeks ago as well because he loved how they taught and the welcoming environment all the coaches have made.

Marcio and his wife Brenda are amazing! They put their heart and soul into their students. The gym is always clean, including the dressing rooms, bathrooms and the mats. I love the fact that there are many classes for all ages and experience. Marcio, and Brenda make their gym a well structured atmosphere for children! Their classes build confidence and discipline for the younger children and teens as well as for the adults. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy the art of Jiu Jitsu and an amazing completion team for those that feel they want a little more excitement! The classes are taught by Marcio and his team of Wold Class Athletes. My son has been with Marcio for almost 3 years and to see him grow into an amazing, strong, disciplined young man is something special. Marcio Andre’s Academy truly is a special place with amazing people. My family and I have been lucky enough to visit for extended periods several times and each time we have left with memories and moments to treasure. We have been to other world class academies and nowhere has even come close to the level of instruction, concepts and ability to spend time with a world class Professor like Marcio. You will never find a Professor more giving to his students. Marcio brings absolute joy to the academy every day and teaches all day including the kids program. Marcio is the perfect blend of knowing exactly what you need technically and knowing exactly how to motivate you to be your best. Marcio has won at the absolute highest levels and is an incredible and deep source or experience, knowledge and inspiration. Along with his family there is an amazing group of individuals learning, training and competing at the highest levels here. They are incredibly welcoming and friendly. My son is a competitor and the reason we travel every summer. They treat him like absolute gold and he truly loves Professor Marcio and the entire family here. It is incredible for him to train and learn alongside his heroes and one day he hopes to be able to train full time with Professor Marcio. Transferred to Marcio Andre’s BJJ academy from a different academy due to the location and the schedule of classes they offer. It’s been a great experience so far! Everyone is kind and welcoming, all the instructors are knowledgeable and helpful, and I really love to see how family oriented the academy is. There are classes for people of all ages and skill levels, the facility is clean, but the best part is learning BJJ among genuinely good people. Would definitely recommend!
