It been almost two years since I been to Main Event Boxing because of life circumstances. I remember this gym before it became Main Event Boxing. It was call 4th Street Boxing Gym. Located on 4th street north. One of the best gym that I ever been to in my life. Feels like an old school throwback style boxing gym. So if you sensitive or just weak then this type of gym is not made for you. I will be coming back hopefully sometime in 2025. Only God knows.

The Gym is too hot, with poor ventilation, FULL OF DOG HAIR EVERYWHERE, dirty and the owner's is lazy, , nasty, incompetent. and his manners are as good as the p-o-s 2001 Dodge Caravan that he drives.

The trainers are less than mediocre, with no knowledge, care or interest.

No one know how to box in this gym.

I love this gym it’s not just huge and spacious but it’s some much equipment I can use to get in better shape and the price is probably the best rates in the area they also have intense classes with great Instructors that’s gonna push you to be great…NOW COME ON LETS GET THAT WORK!!

The owner Josh is great, he works with clients and he is very welcoming. I have been doing personal training with Coach Jose for about a year and I have seen major progress in my physical and mental health. This is more than a boxing gym, if you commit yourself and show up consistently you will feel the love from the staff and other members. I couldn't recommend this gym any more, lots of love for my family at MEBG. You don't need to be a fighter, you can just workout in group classes. If you want to fight they make sure you are safe.. No fight card necessary lol

I've tried a lot of different gyms and routines: Mayweather boxing, orange theory, crossfit, et cetera.. Main Event's boxing classes/conditioning is the only one I've ever been able to stick with. It's definitely a work out, but the energy and accessibility of the coaches and the results you develop are well worth it. Can't say enough positive things about this gym. It has a traditional gym area, plenty of accessories, two rings and I make good use of all of them. Really though, it's the other members that make it worthwhile. Everyone is so easy to get along with and checks their ego before they come in, but still put in serious work.

The owner Josh told me today that “this is no gym for fun or hobbies”… he was very aggressive about requiring an “amateur fighting card” to continue coming to this gym. I’ve only been here a few times and no other gym has ever required further credentials. I’m not sure what his problem is, I would recommend going anywhere else

This gym experience was most satisfying because the owner and trainer went out of their way to greet people who they haven't seen. They expect you to push yourself at your own pace to learn what you are capable of and they will help you find your X-Factor.
