Nice course and it was in great shape.
The only issue I had was the etiquette on the course. I waited from hole 2 on every single tee box for a family to play 3-4 shots each to the green. They knew I was there, they knew I was faster than them. They had every opportunity to allow me through.

I did not see any marhsalls on the course.

People, if you have a single who is clearly playing faster than you, just let them play through! This needs to be brought back to courses everywhere, and enforced by the clubhouse staff.

Really nice course, but I had a surprise on my windshield when leaving the course. You have to pay park entrance to gold there. Got a qr thing on my windshield to pay. If you plan to gold there, make sure to bring another 11$ for playing golf! No signs or anything that indicates you have to pay.

We had a minor emergency with our child and were 5 minutes late. We were not allowed to tee off and got charged the full amount. Not impressed.

We have been golfing here about 10-15 times a year for 20 years. We have always enjoyed it, but recently I was asked to leave either my driver’s license or a credit card in order to rent a golf cart.

I was surprised by this request, but I handed over my drivers license so that we could get a cart to play in our round. When I finished, I went inside to get my license back and they could not find it. It was sitting in a box on the counter with a dozen other cards and it took them 10 minutes to go through everyone’s ID and credit cards to find my license.

This system is no good. When we stopped halfway through our round, there was no one in the pro shop. Someone could have stolen all of those cards and IDs. Further more, anyone could collect that information to commit identity theft.

I plan to call the club after I speak with my attorney to see how the club plans to cover any losses I experience through identity theft for the next several years.

I expect that management will have excellent insurance coverage that will cover their federal PIPEDA violations.

This was such a great golf course. The tee boxes are beautiful, nice and flat as they should be, fairways are well manicured, the greens are large but quite challenging. All in all, quite a nice course.

Does your golf course only treat our First Nation with discrimination? 2x now I’ve had my friends go to the course only to be badly treated. Especially my friend who visited from Texas. Your course requires a credit and ID left at the front desk when you rent a cart, and upon return, they won’t give you back your ID unless they properly check the wheels, everything on the cart, only then they will hand your ID n card back. They watched if they did that to others, NOPE, only them…..Too many stolen carts they say, too many damages they say. From who? First Nations people? We’ve tolerated so much racism, always looked down upon. I’ve never been to any other golf course that does this, only Loon Lake Golf course.

I’m very offended for my friend from Texas, he felt the same way. He even told them he wasn’t going to steal it. He can’t get far with it to Texas.

This is Ridiculous and needs to be addressed. I asked others that live around there if this is what happens, yup, many get mad and that’s why they don’t golf there due to this treatment.

First ever visit to Loon Lake and went here for a birthday supper with my friends. The food was great! Very friendly service and fast. The gravy even tasted just like KFC (which I love).
