If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would! I highly recommend Lakewood Ranch Taekwondo Academy!
We had my son enrolled a little more than a year ago, to get him involved in an extracurricular activity. We thought taekwondo would be best for him because it would teach him how to protect himself and also give him a sense of empowerment. We didn’t know that he would love it as much as he does, but Master Craig and Master Cindy both make it very easy to enjoy. Not only do they treat the kids like family, but they also correct them appropriately when they’re wrong. For the parents, class attendance is very flexible, so it is very easy to pick and choose when you want to go and work it around busy schedules.

My daughter and I have been students at Lakewood Ranch Taekwondo Academy for over 3 years now. Being a part of the academy has been a great experience. Master Craig has created an environment where students feel a strong sense of comradery. He is a dedicated teacher who personally instructs students of all levels.

I have seen my daughter develop physically and mentally over our time at the academy, giving her improved confidence and discipline. Master Cindy is also an amazing teacher whose guidance has been very much appreciated. Master Craig and Master Cindy both provide a teaching style where discipline and encouragement are well balanced. This style has resulted in us both feeling a strong sense of accomplishment and personal development.

I also appreciate that the academy not only teaches the physical aspects of Taekwondo, but also teaches the philosophy of Taekwondo. This balanced teaching style has made our time at the academy positive in many ways. Looking forward to continuing our time there and highly recommend the academy.

I can't say enough good things about this Taekwondo studio! Master Craig and Master Cindy are incredibly skilled and encouraging. The classes are well-structured, providing a perfect balance of discipline and fun. My son’s confidence has skyrocketed since joining. This school is unbelievable. We were skeptical when we started, as our 6 year old has anxiety and has struggled in group settings before. He has done absolutely amazing here! Master Craig and Master Cindy are very professional, knowledgeable and just overall good people who made him feel comfortable and confident from day one. This school has been a blessing to our family and I highly recommend to anyone looking to get their child in Taekwondo.

We moved to Lakewood Ranch 4 years ago and my daughter 5 yrs old at the time has been going to Lakewood Rand Taekwon-Do since! We looked into several places to send her and chose Master Craig and he has delivered the best out come for her. She loves it! ? it has taught her discipline, consistency, confidence, humbleness and all around kindness in everything she does! Master Craig and Master Cindy have been an integral part of the young lady she is growing up to be! Lakewood Ranch Taekwondo is the best!!!?

We are relatively new, started about a month ago. I had been looking to sign my daughter up for martial arts not just to learn self-defense, but to also grow in self-confidence and self-awareness. I came across LWRTKD after hearing great reviews from not only online, but from known local friends who attend/have attended. The vibe is warm and welcoming and the facility is clean. Master Craig and Master Cindy are great instructors. You can tell they really love helping their students grow and excel. I really like how my daughter is also learning different terms in Korean. She always wants to show me what she’s learned when we get home from class. It’s great to see her so excited! Something else I like is how I always see Master Craig taking time to greet every parent that walks in. I think that says a lot about an owner that takes the time to do that. My daughter loves coming to the classes and would come every day if she could! I look forward to watching how she continues to grow and progress. She’s already learned and progressed so much in only a month!
