I recommend Krav Maga for everybody, regardless of age, experience or fitness level. The classes at the Krav Maga Academy San DIego focus on real-world situations, and the instructors take time to brief you on the purpose of all the techniques prior to the drills in class.

I think its pretty cool to learn skills adopted by military/law enforcement and just have knowledge of the most vulnerable parts of the body.

All the students here are very welcoming and offer tips to the newcomers.
This is definitely the place to go if you want to give it a crack. The Krav Maga instructors here are the most qualified you will find in San Diego!

Krav Maga Academy is by far the best Krav Maga gym in San Diego! The instructors are incredibly knowledgable and will work with you 1 on 1 to make sure you understand the lessons as well as get them right! They care about all the students in the class, and will cater to your needs. I have been in classes many times with brand new students and the instructors take the time to make sure they get the attention they need, as well as the attention I need.

I joined the KMA because of the intense workouts, friendly environment, and great instructors. I really enjoy the Boxing classes as well because they are challenging but fun. The more skilled students are always helpful and will make any new person feel welcome.

I strongly recommend checking out the Krav Maga Academy in San Diego. They offer free classes if you are interested, so no harm in being curious. You will not regret it!!

I definitely recommend Krav Maga Academy San Diego, to anyone looking for a great Self Defense class. No prior martial arts back ground or any other forms of fighting required to join. The instructors are certified experts in KM. My wife and I both have enjoyed being in the class. A therapy for couples☺while learning to defend your self is always a winning situation. The price for the class is very reasonable and the amount of training you get, is a bang for your buck. So if you ever wanted to try self defense but are too nervous, come by and check it out. Afraid of coming by your self, bring a partner or workout buddy. You will have a great workout.

As someone who is a Krav Maga instructor I highly recommend KMA and the Instructor staff. I would not say this about too many other Krav Maga schools in San Diego. It is worth your time to give this spot a chance.

I can't say enough good things about this place or the instructors. I didn't have much background in martial arts or self defense before starting, but the instructors made each class easy to grasp and relevent to real life situations.

The instructors are experts and great teachers, which are often not one in the same. Techniques build on themselves throughout the class and from class to class. And the chance to work on technique under the "stress" of simulated real life scenarios is an immense help.

To boot, the instructors and all the other students are friendly, inclusive, and make for a great environment. I have been going three days a week and wish I could go to more of their classes. First rate people and establishment, and I recommended them highly.
