My daughter Maggie just recently competed in her first tournament. It was such a rewarding experience for all her hard work and training at Joon Lee. She was well prepared and confident going into the competition. She earned a first place and a second place medal ? ? Master David was there to encourage her and support her the whole way. She really enjoyed her experience and looks forward to future tournaments.

My son (6 years old) and I (35 year-old mother), have been taking classes at Joon Lee's for a little over a year now. We both enjoy the exercise and learning new skills. Master Jared and Grand Master Joon Lee have been the main instructors at our school in Orland Park for the past few months. They are both fantastic instructors for the many age ranges and abilities at the studio.

When my son started he was not very coordinated and I see him improving each month. Not only is this exercise, but he has to stay focused in class, memorize belt creeds, forms, and children's home rules and has become a leader in Little Dragons where he loves to help teach the younger kids.

You have the opportunity to test each month for a new belt and the process to become a black belt takes about two years.

My youngest just turned three and I'm trying to convince my husband to let me sign him up. He's been watching from the sidelines for half his life, tried a trial class and was amazing. The kids learn so much self control because there are high expectations for them.

I also highly recommend a birthday party at Joon Lee's (photos included). Master Jared will take first-time attendees and give them a shortened version of class in which everyone gets to break a board. All the parents loved the idea of watching their kids trying something new. The kids walk away feeling like super heroes.

Grand Master Lee, Master Jered, and all the instructors are very nice and supportive of all their students! The classes have definitely helped to improve my martial art knowledge and skill. In our last tournament, I was able to get 3 1st place medals thanks to their teachings!

My daughter loves Joon Lee's! The very first day we saw an instant increase in her ability to listen and respect of people and property. Master Jared excels at maintaining the students attention, involvement, and fun. I'm impressed that every level of student interacts with each other. The program is very sound, and extends to students being responsible to their parents, siblings, friends, and home. While the price of any activity is a concern, Joon Lee's is very open about the cost of participating. I'll say it's a worthwhile investment for the positive growth of my daughter.

The place is Extremely clean and everyone here is very professional. All the instructors from the Master to the black belts are always positive and very patient. They work very well with all ages and very patient with the youn ones. I highly recommend this place.

My 9 yr old son has attended Joon Lee Tae Kwon Do for the last year and a half. He's learned a great deal on the art as well as moral and social development. I hope he continues to love it, it's exciting to see him develop. I feel it's important to build character. I really appreciate the self defense skills they teach. The teachers are great and Master Joon Lee actually teaches the children regularly alongside the other Masters. This is a leadership building art, and I want my son to be a leader.

Our boys want to come every day and love their classmates and instructors. Master Jared is wonderful as an instructor, and he has helped them grow so much in discipline and in confidence. Our oldest just went to a tournament with Joon Lee's and won first place in his forms. I love the pride they have shown and can not wait to see how far they go!

My youngest has enjoyed the Little Dragon program. There are classes offered 6 days a week at different times. He loves it so much he has gone 5 days a week. Classes run on time and social distancing / cleaning procedures are followed. The kids are all treated fairly and have a great outlet for getting out extra energy. Highly recommend giving them a try.
