My husband and I walked in and was greeted with a very friendly, helpful staff member. The lobby was clean and welcoming. The whole staff was very friendly, Tracy was the friendliest person we met on our trip. Every time we saw her she asked how our day was and we would talk, she has a great personality. The hotel room was very clean, comfortable and had most comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast was great! Beautiful hotel, We will definitely be going back.

Wasn’t impressed. Most of the employees seemed like they were miserable. Our bathroom was not the cleanest- pee and other stuff on the wall by the toilet. The hallway and the room had a sewer smell to it and our toilet was clogged when we got there. For $174 for a double queen I was not impressed. However I will say their breakfast was good and the lady running the kitchen was super friendly and did an excellent job with breakfast!

Before breakfast I would have given this a nearly 5 star rating. The guest room was large and clean. There were more than adequate electrical outlets and the bedding was very comfortable. The air conditioning was a little loud, but there is not much that can be done about that. The TV had my favorite channel and the remote didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out. Even the bathroom was well thought out and included more than one place to hang things. I was surprised to see that the bathroom sink had a faucet that actually overhung the sink adequately, something I have taken issue with at other hotels when the faucet spews in the wrong place because no one took the time to determine the spout length needed for water to reach the drain instead of puddling on the sink ledge. The toilet wasn't too low, also a problem encountered in other hotels, and the TP dispenser was conveniently located, not 3 feet behind the seating area as I have found at other places. All in all a wonderful room. |But, besides being unbearably cold in the breakfast area because the air conditioning was blasting, the breakfast meal was totally inadequate. Coffee was weak as water. No half and half was offered. There were no English muffins or waffles. The yellow things that were supposed to be some sort of cheese omelette were awful and the pork sausages were barely browned. I was taken aback that such a positive room experience would be nearly nullified by the breakfast experience. This is a small hotel serviced by two very quick and spacious elevators. I might stay here again but I would prefer that breakfast not be offered at all unless it can be done better.

Positive: They were very accommodating and nice. We arrived hours early from a very long trip and they got us a room without hassle. Everyone was greeting us and very nice; room was clean, and the dove products were really nice to have available Negative: The ?a/c? was set to 72 in the hallway and 74 in the room upon entry- this created a musty stale odor throughout the room and whole floor; with the amount of humidity in the air I feel like all air conditioning should be set at 69 for a better environment

This was a great stay. The room was clean and spacious. The staff at the entry were very professional and quick with our in processing. The room had a refrigerator and a microwave, so it was very efficient. The surrounding area had many places to eat. It was so pleasant and very nice area. It lives up to the IHG standards, and I would definitely stay again.

King suite - stayed 8/1/24 - 8/2/24
Well, we liked the location so much I came back and stayed in the king version. I enjoyed the chaise lounge and comfort of the room. There is a lot more open space in the King room, without having the two beds. With just the two of us, it was perfect. A great stay again and a wonderful room. I would stay again and see, I have proven those words because I just did stay again.

I stayed at here for a business trip and unfortunately I forgot to obtain my receipt during check out. I called the hotel multiple times and somehow all receipts failed delivery to my email. The manager even proposed to fax a copy of the receipt to me. In the end, Ej was the life saver and was able to identify there was an error spelling in my email address on file, and I finally received it. He was so patient, polite and professional. I wish all hotels could have a staff like him. Other than the receipt part, which is my fault for not asking for it in person, the hotel was clean, quite, and staff were all friendly. Breakfast was tasty and internet was fast. Will definitely stay again if I come back to Wilmington.

My guy and I had an amazing 3 days at this establishment. Even though it rained alot, we enjoyed the lodging.

I can't think of one thing that we didn't enjoy about our stay.

Everything was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were great ( I am a pillow snob) and everyday breakfast was amazing!
