THIS IS AN AMAZING PLACE TO TRAIN. I dropped in to train at Heart and Dagger while traveling through Mineral Wells. It’s an amazing community with a great culture. The guys train hard, and are all very polite! Clay, the instructor, is knowledgeable and very professional. I’d recommend this place to anyone in the area, and would love to return to train here again.

I had my first BJJ class a little over a year ago at Heart n Dagger. Coach Clay was so welcoming and professional since day one. I had thought about joining long before I did, but was too scared to commit. This team was encouraging and helpful getting me going. Then the consistency came naturally! I moved due to work, so now I attend another gym. I love dropping in here whenever I am back home. They are great and facilities are always clean. Here is a pic of an all woman’s open mat I attended here on a Sunday afternoon a couple of months ago.

I’ve been doing BJJ since 2016 and Heart and Dagger is one of the coolest schools I’ve been too. The Professor Clay is a battle tested black belt that is amazing at what he does. I had an amazing time and learned some awesome techniques. I plan on making H&D one of my new places to train.

We love Heart & Dagger! Coach Clay & James are the perfect balance of firm, gentle and encouraging. Which is exactly what my 10 year old son needs. We are so fortunate to have found this gym! I absolutely recommend them for any ages.

Offering am and pm classes to fit your busy schedules, Heart & Dagger BJJ will make sure you have no excuses for missing training. Coach Clay offers a simple step by step instruction to get you started, step one: Get off the couch and come train, step two: GET OFF THE COUCH AND COME TRAIN. I know it sounds silly but, consistency is key, I've been training now for five weeks and all I can say is I wish I started sooner.
