I'd like to personally recognize the store manager "Miss Brittany", to thank her for showing such genuine customer care & service. She definitely has to wear a lot of hats, so I wanted to commend her for always being quick on her feet, for being responsive to customer's inquiries/concerns, while possessing zero tolerance of any disruption or nonsense within her store. I've been a loyal customer of this particular Harvey's for almost 4 yrs now and it's due to Brittany, Jarrod, Calvin & the rest of their great team/staff... They always show kindness, positivity and are very receptive towards me whenever I shop there. Thank you for making my shopping experience a pleasant one each and every time I've visited your store. You're ALL appreciated and God Bless!

I use to work downtown and this was the place to go to get lunch. Today I waited for 30 minutes. There was 1 employee working the deli waiting on a customer. There war 4 other employees boxing chicken for hot bar ect not one of them acknowledged me. 20 minutes later employee at the deli area finished with customer. I thought finally. That employee decided to clean meat slicer. By then there was 6 other customers behind me. After cleaning meat slicer employee waited on me. There was no sorry for the wait just what do you want. Employee handed me my food no thank you not one word or a smile. Another employee did come to help with the line.
The cashier Eyvette greeted me with a smile. The employees in food/deli can learn from cashier or need to be trained on customer service .

The lights are awful. For over two years hasn't been fixed. This store operates in a food dessert and provides groceries for many people forced to deal with this area. And I'm not talking about the homeless.

I've been shopping at this Harvey's location since I moved to the downtown area & all of managers & employees know I travel to & from their store by my electric scooter. About 3 or 4 weeks ago I was in their shopping, minding my own business as I always do & was approached by a sketchy man who claimed I stole his scooter. I never laid eyes on this person before let alone I've never stolen a person's a scooter before (I have all proper documentation & paid receipts). And I have to give special kudos to these employees that were there with me from the moment this awkward situation began until the end when the police left.
? Mr "CALVIN" (stocker) I can't thank you enough for physically standing & walking by my side to the front of the store where JSO was already at.... ? *JYRON" (register) I thank you young man for speaking up on my behalf letting it be known that that was indeed my scooter.?Mr "JARODD" (manager) also want to especially thank you for being there from the beginning to the end. For speaking up on my behalf and making it known I've been coming in there for years and I've never bothered a soul. And to the public that are reading this if you have an electric scooter beware there are apps out there that will unlock your scooter without your permission. That happened to me that particular night, that guy was able to unlock my scooter with some APP in front of JSO and I almost lost my scooter to a complete stranger. However my saving Grace was the fact that I had documentation, paperwork, registration, receipts and I was able to identify the markings underneath my scooter from a recent accident I had. But again special thank you to store number 1688, my favorite Harvey's ever.... I am filled with such gratitude for ? JARROD, CALVIN & JYRON! ?God Bless y'all! ?

I had the best experience with a young lady Ms Ashley she is so sweet very loving uplifting friendly very down-to-earth she has the most humbled personality very respectful she make my day every time I come there I have had some very bad experiences in the past but she is so welcoming approachable that is why I continue to go there to eat at this location she need pay raise I hope she's a manager

Food poisoning?

This location is the absolute worst -

Recently purchased some chicken here. Became ill within 60 - to 90 minutes of consumption with food poisoning symptoms.

I reach out to and speak with the store manager the following morning to let him know what occurred, then contact the DoH. The store manager takes down my name, phone # and states he will call me back…

Only to never call me back. Worst yet? When an inspector came to the store - The manager OUTRIGHT LIED to the inspector by telling them that Harvey’s ‘doesn’t sell that size package of chicken’. ‍♂️

Apparently this store manager and/or Harvey’s doesn’t take these matters seriously at all and has no problems lying to the state if it’s in their favor. I will be following up with corporate accordingly.

Then there’s the service desk - seemingly ran by a woman who thinks that just because she gets away with treating/speaking to her kids and/or staff in a certain manner, that she can treat & speak to customers in the same rude and condescending manner, all while running the service desk both ineffectively & inefficiently. Easily replaced, I’d fire her @$$ in a heartbeat if she worked for my business & I witnessed her treating/speaking to people the way she does.

Resolution? Aldi needs to seriously clean house at this location. Bringing the same staff forward that ran the blatantly subpar Harvey’s into the ground is just not good business and is just begging for a repeat performance of the same. ‍♂️
