Functional Taekwondo DFW really is an excellent school, the instructors are highly trained and have a great ability to connect with their students, they not only focus on taekwondo techniques, they also promote values ​​such as respect, discipline, perseverance and self-confidence.
The classes are dynamic and well structured, the students support each other, the environment is positive. Taylor talks to them about values ​​that we consider very important and motivates them to always give their best. He really is a good leader!
Our son is very motivated to continue learning and he wants to go to his classes every day.

And my favorite is that it helps him socialize/ give him time away from electronics. We try to balance his screen time with life adventures and this class helps him so much.

Master Kelly also ties in martial arts with life advice and it really sticks to my son. I often find him sharing the advice with his little brother and even randomly shadow boxing on his own whenever we go haha

Don’t hesitate to bring your child, or even attend the adults kickboxing (it’s a great workout to stay in shape or get into shape)

My 5 year old daughter started going here in September and we LOVE it! We've done other activities before like soccer and karate but my daughter lost interest very quickly, but here, she LOVES going to class EVERYTIME (which really says a lot bc she is very "high-energy" and strong-willed). Not only does she have fun but she is also learning valuable (and realistic) techniques for defending herself, as well as daily life lessons like respect and discipline. Master Kelly is really great with the kids, very engaging, positive, patient, and a great teacher. I also really like the level of communication he provides to parents about what is going on in classes, schedule, etc. I get to stay and watch every class, it's always something I look forward to every Tuesday and Thursday night.
