I’ve been a member of this gym for 6 years. Best in this region! Great fundamentals and advanced techniques taught by Brazilian Black Belts. No gimmicks! My daughter became a Blue Belt after training Judo/Brazilian Jiujitsu at this academy and winning a couple of tournaments. Her confidence level at school was in direct correlation to the training she received there. Their kids program is amazing!

My wife and I have been training at the is gym for over four years and it has been a blast the entire time! The environment is very friendly and the Jiu Jitsu is phenomenal. There is instruction for all levels and all ages. There is even a women’s only class Monday and Fridays! If you are looking for Jiu Jitsu, be it you are just beginning or want to continue to compete at the highest levels, this is the place for you!

I’m new on my BJJ journey. Been training here for a month. In my last open mat, I was the only white belt in a room full of blue, purple, brown, and black belts. It was a great opportunity to ask questions and be taught by everyone I rolled with. Everyone here is friendly and open to share their experiences. I’m a sponge myself, trying to learn as much as I can. Highly recommend!

While my son enjoyed going to classes there. He is no longer with me and cannot attend. Have been requesting them to stop charging me multiple times. In person, on the phone and through email. Each time I call or go in person they tell me to email and they will get back to me. No one responds to the emails. So far 4 charges since requesting them to withdraw my son from classes and refund me. Only option is to cancel my card and dispute charges.

ZR team was recommended to me by friends. After following their Instagram page I was made aware of their summer camp program for kids. I signed up two of my daughter ages 3 and 9. Their camp was a wonderful first exposure to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for my girls. Professor Lucas and Professor Mac are absolutely wonderful with the children. Even with a relatively large age gap between some of the children in the camp, the team at ZR made sure to keep all the children involved. Needless to say our experience during the camp led to signing up my daughter and myself for regular classes. As a slightly “overprotective” father I strongly recommend ZR team to anyone, especially those looking to get their children involved in the sport. I truly believe my daughters are in good hands at ZR team.

I have been training at ZR team Spring Lake for the last three years. I have a complicated work schedule that limits my time for regular training. Professor Diego worked with me in the beginning before introducing me to Professors Gui and Professor Lucas. They understood my desire to compete and be competitive. They have shared a great deal of knowledge with me building my confidence as well as my skills in Jiu Jitsu. The team members like William, Jorge, Eric, Professor Big Mac and Big G have all helped me tremendously along the way. I was able too achieve a goal in 2024 becoming Pan Champion at Master6 level. The quality of training and the individuals involved in my development have been exceptional. I have improved my health and conditioning along the way too a level that I did not imagine and Professor Lucas is the biggest part of this achievement. He sacrifices his time and gives a hundred percent effort. His encouragement and dedication to the beautiful art is undaunted. Again the team members who sacrifice their own time too help me improve are unlimited. The team truly wants each individual to enjoy and find success on the mats. I trained at several locations and different academies before coming to ZR team Spring Lake and here I found my Jiu Jitsu home with high quality well trained instructors that are willing to share and impart their own knowledge for your success. I highly recommend this Team to anyone looking for quality BJJ instruction from a group that make you feel at home and welcome.
