Being a woman it could be very intimidating entering a jiu jitsu gym, but since day one all the people at Cave Creek Millennia have made me feel comfortable and treated me as an equal. The coaches Gabriel and Josh are both high level and professional black belts! Definitely recommend training here!

Talk about a true jiu-jitsu family. My son and I both are taking classes here! Great family time! My son loves coming to class and so do I!
The overall experience and level of knowledge is top tier. I was so so so nervous to join such a competitive sport. I still am. Professor and the whole team made me feel extremely comfortable. When I get confused or over whelmed it is no problem they truly care and slow it down and help me out. I never thought I'd be this person to join a sport like this but I am 110% happy I did! My friend has been raving about the Cave Creek Millennia MMA classes for a while and kept encouraging my wife and me to join. As a surprise for our friend’s belated birthday, we finally decided to attend a class. Having never tried Muay Thai before, we were a bit apprehensive walking in. However, our nerves were quickly calmed after meeting the instructor, the other classmates, and the staff.

The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, with everyone eager to share insights and tips. The instructor was fantastic – he explained and demonstrated the stances and techniques clearly, making it easy for beginners like us to follow along. We started with shadow boxing, and the instructor would walk around offering personalized tips to help us improve.

Next, we paired up to work on combinations, beginning with punches. After a short break, we combined punches with kicks, and later, added movement to our combinations. Each segment was well-structured, allowing us to build up our skills progressively. We finished the class with some scrimmage time, which was both challenging and exhilarating.

Overall, we had an amazing time and felt a real sense of accomplishment by the end of the session. We highly recommend these classes to anyone, regardless of their experience level. It's a great way to learn something new, get a fantastic workout, and meet some wonderful people.

Great place to train! Professor Gabe and Josh are great and have a wealth of knowledge between the two. Unfortunately I had to cancel do to some health issues and recent surgery. They were extremely understanding, and let me out of my contract. I look forward to going back once physically able.

If you're looking for a Jiu Jitsu gym that makes you feel like part of the family from day one, this is the place to be! The environment is incredibly welcoming, especially for newbies like myself. Everyone, from white belts to black belts, train together in a supportive atmosphere and help each other get comfortable and grow in their skills. Whether you’re looking to get in shape, learn self-defense, or compete, this gym has something for everyone. Highly recommended for anyone interested in Jiu Jitsu, regardless of experience level or age!

s strong supporters of local businesses, it is truly painful to write this review. Unfortunately, our experience with Cave Creek Millennia MMA has been overwhelmingly negative, primarily due to their poor customer service and lack of organizational skills.

My background in martial arts has instilled in me a deep appreciation for discipline and structure, qualities that are sorely lacking at this establishment. From the very beginning, obtaining the uniform was an ordeal that lasted three months. Despite repeated inquiries, there was no record of our order, showcasing a glaring lack of organization.

Our frustrations did not end there. When I informed the staff that my child has health conditions necessitating the cancellation of our membership, they responded with a harsh reminder of the contract we had signed. Rather than showing understanding or compassion, they were dismissive and unprofessional.

Particularly, avoid dealing with Brianna. She was by far the worst, displaying a level of indifference and rudeness that was shocking.

While it is never easy to leave a negative review, it is necessary for other consumers to be aware of the issues we faced. Cave Creek Millennia MMA needs to significantly improve their customer service and business practices.

Edited: Read their reposnse, delflecting always proves guilt. Apparenely, they must have run a backround check on me, lol. They would have found my military and law enforecement backgound.
