The training sessions are well-structured, with a good mix of drilling and sparring to challenge and improve your game. The training partners are skilled and focused, making each session a great learning experience.

There is two big rooms equipped with tatami, dedicated area for weightlifting and kettlebells, big change room+shower+sauna, free drinking water and superb ventilation system.

Cool place to hide from kids after daily job, to have fun and learn something new for every level from beginners to competitors!

This BJJ club is great for everyone. Conveniently located with free parking, it offers a clean environment and modern equipment, including new mats and some free weights.

Classes are usually in English, but the coach also speaks Latvian and Russian, ensuring clear communication for all.

I was looking for a bjj gym while I visit Riga for few days and the head coach allowed me to train at his academy for free. Had good rolls with everyone I rolled with. everyone was friendly and students focused on the jiu jitsu techniques rather than doing something weird during live rounds which showed a great gym culture.

Definitely would recommend to beginners and experienced practitioners.

I looked for a sports activity for my son, who had tried various activities like football, karate, and capoeira but wasn't particularly interested. After researching, I discovered Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which seemed like a good fit for his hyperactive energy. I enrolled him in his first training at BJJ Academy Latvia, and it turned out to be perfect.

Over the next five years, he made incredible progress, from learning basic movements to landing on the podium at international competitions. Inspired by their brother's success, my other children have also joined the academy's training.

Coach Jevgenijs is passionate and supportive, with a knack for connecting with kids of different ages. He helps them develop their skills and confidence. The academy is a place where my kids have learned the importance of dedication and persistence to achieve their goals. As parents, we also see it as a motivator for them to maintain good grades in school.

The Academy boasts spacious and well-maintained facilities, including a water cooler and separate changing rooms for boys and girls.

World class Bjj coaching in English, Russian and Latvian languages.
I asked Jevgenijs if it would be OK to drop in for a No-gi class while on holiday, he was quick to respond and left a friendly impression.
When I arrived, most of the students greeted me and seemed to have a lot of respect for each other.
After a brief warm up, we covered double leg takedowns and went deep and detailed on armbars. Some of the techniques I have incorporated in my game.
At the end of the class we did some positional sparring to solidify what we learned.
I was very pleasantly surprised about Jevgenijs`s knowledge and the facilities are very good. There's enough space for everyone and the changing rooms even have a working sauna.
Top notch, would recommend.
