I started training here in October '24 in preparation for a weird and wild multi-day competition that had wrestling as one of 12 events. All the coaches were incredibly helpful, going out of their way to help me get as prepared as possible in a very short window of time. I decided to keep training combat after my competition because I have so been enjoying my experience. I have competed in SO MANY sports at a huge array of levels across my life, so I have had so many coaches as well. The ones at ACS are exemplary, and the community overall is warm and encouraging. I also want to emphasize as a woman beginning in a male-dominated sport how welcoming this community is. I'm so excited to see what may come of this new adventure

AZ Combat Sports is one of my favorite gyms I’ve had the pleasure to be a part of. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a friendly and personable front desk staff who make you feel right at home. The seasoned instructors are world-class, with coaching that caters to everyone—from beginners starting their MMA journey to seasoned athletes looking to sharpen their skillset. Where do I start? This gym has had a huge impact on my combat performance, going from being a total newbie to someone confident in their own ability. The care given from the staff, yes, literally every staff member, is incredible. It truly feels like a family if you get to know everybody. When someone mentions wanting to train in combat sports, I recommend ACS without a second thought.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and always ready to help you master the techniques, no matter your skill level. If you're worried about pricing, don't be – their rates are the best around, and they even offer student discounts. This is the perfect place to learn and improve without breaking the bank. Be ready to sweat and have fun.

Super great operation. I had no experience in martial arts and they made me feel at home on day one. Fantastic and patient coaches, the members were super friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

Went to a sparring class session here and got knocked unconscious, threw up, and convulsed leading me to develop a severe TBI and go into a coma and almost die. While my brain was actively bleeding all they did was splash cold water on my face, they did not contact a ambulance so my medical attention was delayed for hours. Due to this delay I almost lost my life and have permanent life long lasting after effects. They had zero saftey protocol what so ever. The coaches do not give any warning to the students to not kill other students and not go too hard while sparring. They teach no sparrring etiquette or incentive to care about your sparring partner. So the classes are full of people who want to prove thier own strength and toughness more then constructively learn skills, they don't require headgear either so the chance of you sustaining serious injuries are high. This place puts ego and pride over the safety of the students I'd recommend putting your money somewhere else where they care more about your life and wellbeing.

This place has been like a family to me. Can’t say enough about the solid Men & Women that are members here and that coach her. Ownership is top notch! Lally’s brothers are gods gift to the earth!!!
