Hidden gem!!

I recently had the pleasure of playing at Pinecrest Golf Club in Avon Park, and I must say it was an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The course itself was in impeccable condition, with lush green fairways and well-maintained greens.

The layout of the course was challenging yet enjoyable, with a nice variety of holes that tested my skills. The picturesque views of the surrounding landscape added to the overall beauty of the course.

Overall, I had a fantastic time at Pinecrest Golf Club. The combination of excellent service, well-maintained course, and beautiful surroundings made for a memorable golfing experience. I would highly recommend this club to any golf enthusiasts looking for a great place to play.

Another pleasant surprise as we continue to try different places in highlands county. It’s a little off the beaten path of 27 in Avon Park but worth the drive. Park off to the rear right when you pull in as there are spots set aside for restaurant guests. Greeted immediately and taken to our seats. The bartender turned out to be our waitress but she handled it perfectly. Very nice and explained some of the food for us. I asked for a change to a menu item and they accommodated after checking with the kitchen. The fried green tomatoes appetizer was the star of the show. Done perfectly and topped with a pimento cheese ball. So good. Our salad was delicious and the club very tasty. So many sweet potato fries, we could not finish. Had to get a box for leftovers. All in all a five star experience, especially if you’re looking for something a little different. Enjoy! #stevensleavin

Being from IL, I’m not familiar with the area just yet, but the couple of places I’ve played have not made me feel the way Pinecrest did. First, rich history that you can almost feel while you play here. Second, the staff is so nice and helpful, explained the history of the course. Third, the course was in great shape for being August, but be sure to hit it in the fairway. The rough, is definitely rough.

a fellow golfer. Wow, what a great course!! Greens are fast and challenging. Kay who checked us in was awesome, best customer service I've ever had. Wish it was closer, but we'll be back.

We had a great time this afternoon at Pinecrest on Lotela Golf Club. We drove in off highway 17 coming south and we were greatest by a beautiful scenic view of lake Lotela. The neighborhood is gorgeous and the golf course seemed like it was in pristine condition. Although I didn't actually golf it, it sure looked that way from the drivers seat. But any how..

It was a beautiful day and I'm happy we got enjoy a great lunch served by a charming Wendy I think her name was. The menu is really straightforward and easy to order from. You can find a wide variety of meals from sandwiches to steak, seafood to pasta and it all smelled delicious as we entered the restaurant.

We were greeted and seated in less than a minute it seem like.
The food was served hot and it was delicious. The grilled chicken, seasonal vegetables(green beans) and a side of squash was easy to enjoy. We also ordered a margarita flat bread that was out of this world and a order of fried pickles and jalapenos that definitely hit the spot.

All in all This was a welcoming first time experience to Pinecrest!

I'll tell my family and friends and I will definitely be back to try some of the other great offerings on the menu. Thanks again!

We visited Pinecrest Golf Club last week during the heat of summer and this golf course is like a cool drink of water! We had a fantastic experience from the customer service we received in the pro shop to the lush green fairways and the immaculate greens. We had high expectations with this course being a Donald Ross design, and it exceeded every single one. How awesome to realize we walked in the footsteps of professional golfers like Sam Snead! The layout of each hole is just impeccable. The holes are roomy. I felt like I had "elbow room". Yet each hole is challenging in its own right. We will definitely be back when we're in town!

Top notch! Great customer service across the board. Food was great and economical. Surprised!! greenskeeper deserves a pat on the back. Nice to see a course that cares about what we play on. Be back for sure real soon.

Love this restaurant, the service is always great and the food is delicious, you need to try this amazing fish sandwich below, my hubby had the burger and he said it was very good, as an appetizer we started with the onion ring tower, check out the pics below.
