The staff absolutely make this gym, they are incredibly friendly, encouraging and helpful. The knowledge across the team is so impressive that whatever your requirements or goals there is someone there who can help you reach them.

The classes are fun and energetic and you always leave feeling like you’ve had a great workout, whatever your level of fitness

The general atmosphere makes this gym a great place to go, work out, make new friends… it’s a big part of my life now, so are the people 🙂

Provided you go when it isn't too busy, this is a great little gym with everything you need and the atmosphere is just right to get a decent workout done. Gym etiquette is good – members help keep the place clean and actually put weights back where they got them from, and the staff are great!
One issue however is lighting. I complained on 22 Dec that all the lights were off in the morning (I thought the gym was shut when I arrived) but apparently they were doing some testing of the emergency lights (it took about 2 hrs till the lights came back on). The same happened again today (21 Aug) and I did another full session in the dark. If this sort of thing has to happen – and it must have been scheduled work – then a text should go out to members so they can plan accordingly.

Here's the thing. Puregym is a pretty great value for the money. If you want to work out 3 or 4 times a week, everything you need is there. Spin classes are included and a nice change of pace. It's never overly busy except 6 to 7 pm on weekdays, and even then it's workable. Always clean and equipment is reliable. All at a great price.

This is a great gym, it has everything I need and I rarely have to wait for equipment (the racks are always busy, but that’s the same at every gym I’ve been to). Facilities are clean and management/trainers are friendly. Highly recommend.

Always clean and tidy along with good value for money (max dumbbell weights 36kg) however no criticism really. I always go very early in the morning as afternoons can get pretty busy.
Good changing rooms with showers and lockers.
Generally I like this gym a lot, recommended 5 stars based on the value for money.

Excellent gym. Very clean, enough machines to go around and great choice of equipment. I would highly recommend this gym. ?

Nice gym and really good value for money. Clean and well maintained. Needs more weight machines and less cardio machines - too many rowing machines which I never see used. Peak time there are queues waiting for certain machines. The Gym Group has better range of machines but sadly this gym has better locations.

Feel like all my workouts are only 75% their potential due to running out of time having to wait and getting tired from doing cardio on one of the many free machines whilst waiting.
