Learning the martial art of Wing Chun has been an eye-opening experience for me. After just a few months, I feel stronger and more present in mind and body. I’ve also made friends with some of the kindest and most giving people I’ve ever met in any sport or club activity. Thank you to the school for providing such a valuable resource to the community, especially the women’s self-defence classes. Training here is always the highlight of my week.

For over 19 years, I've found my second home at International Wing Chun Academy. This training centre has been my sanctuary, keeping me physically and mentally sharp with its rigorous yet fulfilling training sessions. After a taxing day at work, stepping onto the mats feels like a breath of fresh air, offering relaxation, enjoyment, and the perfect balance of challenge. The instructors are not just skilled practitioners but also compassionate mentors, fostering a sense of community and growth among all students. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned martial artist, IWCA offers an unparalleled experience that transcends mere exercise—it's a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Highly recommended!

I have little or no experience with Wing Chun at present, but look forward to learning as much as I reasonably can, at this Academy.
Survived four lessons so far. Very happy. A bit fitter. I've been taught a lot, probably remembered some. Searching for 'forms' video. Great teachers and atmosphere.

Hello Sifu Jim

Thank you for the email regarding your move.   Your images show the timetable for Wed through to Sun.

Are you not going to be open on Monday and Tuesday evenings?

When I come in tomorrow ( Monday ) evening, will I be able to take a photo of your new timetables?

Thank you

regards

This is a top notch martial arts academy with great instructors and a friendly, ego-free environment.

The training is well-rounded and offers a good balance of practical self defence training and fitness development. I was very impressed with the timetable and membership options, which are fairly priced with no hidden fees or gotchas.

Definitely worth dropping by for a lesson if you value your health and safety!

I've been training at the International Wing Chun Academy for the last 3 months. Today I passed my Grade 2 grading.
There's such a positive and supportive vibe down at the Academy. It's a great place to get fit, learn some discipline and develop new martial arts skills. I would highly recommend to anyone that has ever thought of training in Wing Chun Kung Fu, or even just been curious, to get yourself down to the Academy, take a look around, meet the instructors and have a trial lesson. Nothing to lose and you might just find something new that you'll love.
I'd like to thank all the Instructors for their support so far - you're all awesome. And in particular a big thanks to Instructor Steve for your encouragement.
I'm really looking forward to many years more of learning with you all.

I have been training at the International Wing Chun Academy for just over 3 years. I really enjoy training there. I love that classes are available 7 days a week, at various times during the day and evening, so it’s possible to train whenever is convenient for you.
There is certainly a great sense of community at the academy, the atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming. The instructors and trainee instructors are highly knowledgeable and encouraging, and always willing answer questions and help you improve.
As well as learning the Wing Chun techniques and concepts, I do enjoy the fitness aspect of the class especially with the Wing Chun themed cardio warm down at the end of the class.
I can attend a class after a busy day at work and it helps me unwind and takes my mind off the stresses of the day. I would highly recommend the International Wing Chun Academy for anyone wanting to take up a martial art and improve fitness.

I've really enjoyed seeing my son grow in confidence and skill learning Wing Chun over the past year. I then also joined and I've appreciated the way the instructors love what they're doing and willingness to pass on their knowledge and skill to improve all students. They are really encouraging and supportive no matter the age or skill level. Great instructors mean great students who love to train together. Very happy to recommend this place for learning Wing Chun.
