My daughter loves going to class on a weekly basis, it’s a fun interactive way to introduce kids to martial arts ( she’s 6). The instructors are all great, she learns new skills that can be applied to everyday life with each class. Highly recommend this studio!

Awesome group of instructors! My son loves learning martial arts at Empower. They are very involved and engaged and do their work sincerely without too much fanfare.

I would especially call out Sifu Brennan and Siri Ryan. Both push kids to do their best.

I recommend Empower to most people wishing to train in martial arts unless you want something super intense and possibly causing injury.

My kid has been going there for a year, and I had very pleasant experience until recently.

Pros: the instructors are well mannered and knowledgeable. You can trust them to teach your kids some meaningful life lessons and physical activities.

Cons: always remember to bring your water bottle, because even if it’s raining heavily outside and your kid is thirsty after jumping, they will tell you to ask nearby shop for water (as they can not give water to other people).

This is for the management: I generally support local businesses and I do support empower as well, but when you are dealing with kids, please have some cups to drink water from. You guys already have a water fountain, you can afford a set of paper cups.

Our son has been going to Empower Martial Arts for over 2 years now. EMA has the friendliest staff that you'd ever come across, instructors as well as reception. They have a pretty intuitive app which makes managing schedules a breeze. They have started hosting birthday parties as well, and we were the lucky few who got to get an early taste of it. Their party hosting skills are legendary to say the least; all the way from the structured playtime for the kids on the mat, right to the detailed themed decorations. They go above and beyond in anything they do. Our son loves EMA, and so do we!

I have been training here with my son for eight years, and we are constantly growing and developing our martial arts craft. Shihan Shir and the team of instructors support the environment we look for in a martial arts studio. As we know, not everyone is looking for the same thing, but the key to this group is they take the time to know their students and understand what motivates them. And while the specific class learns a common technique/skill, the instructors know what drives and motivates their students to make a "common" class a very unique experience for an individual.

As an adult, it is great to work out with a group of people who share a common interest in martial arts and the true desire to work hard - to grind - through a workout, whether its a basic martial arts technique or something very complex or physical.
