Love this place. Welcoming to all skill levels , wonderful supporting people students and instructors . I came in for the first time to check out their women's self defense class that happens 3rd Saturday of every month . I was impressed with the structure of the class and how the things we were thought were not only useful, but very empowering. We were thought things that we can actually remember and use in a threatening situation. After that class I was invited by Omar , the owner/ main instructor, to come back for a free class and never left! This place has been my safe heaven from all the stresses of daily life. Now I can leave it all in the punching bags.

An amazing school for those who want to study and or learn self defense techniques. The head instructor Omar teaches his students respect and discipline while upholding a delightful feeling of comradery. Would totally recommend for anyone who wants to learn, build themselves, or wants a sense or comradery and community.

Never thought I’d start taking martial arts in my 50’s, but I absolutely love it and I’m addicted. Great instruction and fantastic classmates. It all started with one Saturday self defense class for women, after that, I was hooked. Try it- you won’t regret it!

We absolutely love this studio, Moore's martial arts of Sacramento won us over with their family friendly and fun teaching environment!
Our son was very shy and a bit nervous about being in a new environment but the instructor's are knowledgeable and passionate about their teachings, fellow students are kind and helpful with first time learning curves, all of this made our experience full of Awesomeness. We are thankful for our martial arts family at Moore's of Sacramento.

Just came back after 20 years and I love it here. The style is one of a kind, Shun Shifu Tan is great with kids and training adults.
