My daughter has been going to Warrior’s Edge since she was 4 for the Ninja Ranger program, and now she’s made it to the youth and adult program. She learned how to count in Japanese, how to show respect to others, and how to get out of sticky situations. I’ve also seen a boost of confidence in her over the years. Mr. and Mrs. Eichenberg are fantastic teachers and everyone there are so welcoming and helpful. They also have Warrior Women workshops which I have personally attended and have learned so much. We are very happy with our experience and we love this dojo. Highly recommend!

I had been looking for class like this for years. Joining warriors edge has honestly been the best decision I’ve made, Mr. Eichenberg is an amazing and very kind teacher and so are all the black belts, I have learned so much from everyone there and also had so much fun. I would definitely recommend joining ?

From the time I started at Warrior's edge martial art everyone was extremely supportive and each time I made a mistake the sensei or kancho came and helped me with patience, and everyone there was really kind and happy to help. There is a bunch of fun stuff learn to from the first belt itself. My sister in the ranger's class looks forward to go and learn everytime she had to go.

Escape and Survive Self Defense Review

This self-defense course is the real deal. In fact the duct tape, zip ties and rope escapes are worth the price of admission.

The key benefit of this course is that it is a contemporary take on Bruce Lee’s insight from years ago regarding self-defense: use what is useful, discard what is not. Like Bruce Lee, Mr. Eichenberg (owner and chief instructor) thought things through, figuring out what will likely and plausibly work in the street and what will not. And that is a good thing, given all the “bullshido” on the web, which if used in a real life and death situation is likely to get one killed. A prime example of this is Mr. Eichenberg’s approach to a common and very scary real life situation: the knife attack. I’ve had some previous training in empty hand knife defense and there are many “tutorials” on YouTube addressing this scary scenario. The problem is that in what I was trained to do and what is on YouTube involves very complex intricate moves that only a master marital artist practicing this stuff 24/7 would have a chance of making these moves successful in such a scary real life scenario. In fact, what is typically taught, mostly all focus on knife disarm. Mr. Eichenberg makes things much simpler, and in my judgement safer, in that he focuses on knife avoidance and virtually simultaneous debilitating counter attacks such as an armbar. The moves, he teaches, are infinitely simpler, make much more sense and seem to me are more practical in that they are achievable with some repetition and practice. In other words, in my judgement his approach, seems realistically doable … again emphasizing “use what is useful and discard what is not.”

Everything taught in this course – grappling, striking, escape, and disarms – is based upon “does this make sense?” Sure, like anything else, you’re going to have to practice what you learn here. But what you learn here, as opposed to other courses I have taken – is doable. It is achievable. The average person can actually – with some practice of course – do what is taught here.

I cannot offer enough praise for this course. It is indeed the real deal. Oh, one more thing. It was a lot of fun too.

I've been attending this place for a little bit now, & it is a very awesome & well structured program. Everyone is very friendly, & the support shown by each of the sensei & Kancho is very effective.

Here, I was able to learn so much in so little time, & everything I've learned has also helped me outside of the dojo. From being able to fall safely in any scenario to self defense & general balance + strength training.

Every time I come there I always have a great time, & it's an unforgettable memory.

I look forward to being able to train here far down the line!

I joined the Warrior’s Edge dojo without having any practical martial arts experience, just a keen interest and willingness to learn. I thought I would learn some self defense, discipline, and gain some confidence. I have improved in those areas but have gained so much more than I expected. I now see Aiki Ninjutsu as a lifelong journey that is travelled both physically and mentally. As a student of zen, Taoism, philosophy and self improvement I was pleasantly surprised by the mental component of Aiki Ninjutsu. Train the body and the mind.
The class schedule during the week is great if you have a busy or unpredictable schedule. There are plenty of sessions to choose from during the week. Each class is expertly taught. The instructors are extremely learned in Aiki Ninjutsu and the various historic schools that have shaped Aiki Ninjutsu into the finely honed martial that it is. It has a long lineage and there are tradition touches but ultimately it is a practical martial art. The instructors are always willing to offer guidance and the students help each other learn and progress in each class.
My 5 year old attends Ninja Rangers and loves it too. The kids have fun while gaining discipline, confidence, awareness of potential dangers, and how to protect themselves.

My experience at warrior's edge has been more than I'd expected. At first, I wanted to just learn some martial arts to challenge myself a little more, but I've learned WAY more than I would have expected at this point. Great people who are there to help everyone learn!
