My child went here for its after school in 2022. It's a very organized and structural facility with caring and responsible coaches/supervisors. They offer nearby school pickup and normally have 15-20 mins of Taekwondo training and other activities under supervision. The supervisors are very friendly and they help students with their homework and math exercise (offered at this centre). My child enjoyed the whole session here and had no complaints at all. All coaches and supervisors here are willing to communicate with parents in case of any questions.

My son has been fortunate enough to be a student with Master Tong since he was 3 and a half years old. Master Tong and his instructors are thoughtful, kind, and competent. They have a genuine connection with their students and it showed immensely in the form of my son's comfort, growth and enthusiasm. There after-school program and location makes the school an ideal place to learn martial arts. Highly recommended ?

Our son has been with the Canadian Taekwondo Centre for over 4 years. We have been exceptionally impressed with their ability to ensure the children who attend the Centre obtain a comprehensive understanding of all of the stages in taekwondo. Furthermore, they have installed such discipline and commitment to the sport for our son, who obtained his first level black belt most recently. The consistency and commitment of each of the instructors has, and continue to provide our son with a tremendous outlook towards achieving his second level black belt! I would highly recommend this institution for all children of all ages, and I for adults who are interested in learning taekwondo. Their summer program is also enjoyable. Continue to do excellent work!

I’ve been training here for five years, almost six and I can comfortably say this is the best Taekwondo school in the Richmond Hill/Markham area. Master Tong, Master Jay and Master Son are all great masters and they all seem very passionate. Correcting all my mistakes and even offering to help me with my Poomsae and other techniques outside of class time. Even through the pandemic, the online classes were great and fun. Being apart of their first group of students, watching this school develop and introduce new types of classes like Competition training (Sparring) and eventually introducing a Black Belt class felt great to be apart of. This school is also backed up by a World Champion and Grand Master; Grand Master Son, so you can assure that they have a great curriculum.After training for so long and earning my Second Dan black belt just a few weeks ago, this school is world class.

Amazing well trained staff. They address needs of every single student while coaching them as a whole team which shows and outstanding management abilities. They know how to motivate little children to progress while not putting them in strict ambience of martial arts. About the math part, it’s amazing side activity, training the brain as well as the body. I have to offer my special appreciation to Ms. Choi, Master Jay after all Master tong as the owner and manager and the whole other staff. I am so happy that my son joined this place. My loves his Tae Kwon Do class !!!

This is the best place to learn taekwondo and also the best place for after school. My children were very happy , learning mathematic and taekwondo. Teachers are very nice and gentle and children learn social skills in a friendly way. Thanks Master Tong for everything you are doing for our children .
