Stopped in on Saturday of Labor Day weekend. Thinking there wouldnt be any open tee times. They got me off within 45 min. The course is beautiful and was in perfect condition. It was $160 for nine holes and rental clubs. A bit pricey but I've had this course saved for a minute and since they had the availability why not?!? Beautiful signature hole. Good vibes around the clubhouse and restaurant. Highly recommend. Thanks!

Amazing course !! One of the best courses in Colorado and my new favorite. Course was unique and picturesque all while being as challenging as they come. Priced very well and had a fantastic staff from pro shop to outside staff. Do not miss your opportunity to play this course.

Bear Dance is an amazing place to play golf. The course is challenging but fair, with well-placed bunkers, nightmarish-rolling greens, and changes in elevation that keep things interesting. The natural beauty is breathtaking, with views of the Rocky Mountains and wildlife all around. The clubhouse is inviting, the staff is friendly, and the practice facilities are excellent. It’s a bit pricey, but totally worth it for the experience. If you love golf, you should definitely play a round at Bear Dance.

Top 3 mountain courses I've ever played. Beautiful, well maintained, great greens, and endless mountain views. The tall pines really frame the holes very well. I must have taken 100 photos... its very photogenic.

Course is in amazingly good condition, lush fairways and smooth, very fast bentgrass greens. Any putt that's going downhill is going to be lightning fast, it's going to be hard to get it to stop. But I guess that's part of the challenge. Some of the greens seemed a little gimmicky with the slopes, massive swales and huge hills you had to put up and down, and the pins were put in extremely difficult places. A lot of greens had raised hills around the green perimeter where if you just miss in the rough, you'll be chipping on a downhill lie towards a fast green. So the greens command precision when you're approaching. Layout was pretty good, some super scenic vistas from the tee boxes, but some of the doglegs and landing zones were kind of strange, I hit iron off multiple tees. But this is was what I could consider a hard golf course. Some fairways were very narrow, doglegs were tricky and tee shots were blind, some elevation changes on course required guessing at yardages, greens were super slopey and very fast if you weren't on the exact right part of the green. Also we tried to get food after our round and it was crazy slow. Probably almost 45 min wait for things like club sandwiches and burgers. Shouldn't take that long. On the pricy side for a round of golf too. But a well kept course

Played at Bear Dance this past Sunday as a twosome with my fiance. While the course was beautiful and in great shape for mid-October, several things happened that will make me not go back. The staff and clubhouse were wonderful, practice facilities were great too, and got paired up with another couple of very similar golfing abilities which made it a great round. Again, the course is truly beautiful.

However, on hole 8 we had a ranger sitting at the green watching us approach and asked us to speed it up (even though we waited for the group in front of us before we could hit). Then on 11, the same ranger started almost following us - lurking at greens and the middle of fairways. We had people hitting from 3 different tees, so maybe it took us 30 seconds longer than others to tee off….but otherwise we had nowhere to go with groups stacked in front of us. On 12 or 13, the ranger asked us again to speed up and still followed us. The 4 men behind us hit into us numerous times and almost hit the ranger in his cart, yet we somehow were the problem.

It was overall a very unwelcoming experience and pretty annoying. We finished 18 holes in 4:22 which is absolutely average for the course (just google it), and by the end, we all seemed to realize one thing. We were the only group on the course (that we could see) that had females in it. I’m sure there were others out there, but we were pretty unique with two.

I’d tell anyone to save their money and go play another overpriced course on the weekend where rangers pay attention to who the slow/bad golfers are, versus picking on the group with two females.

I guess I'll start with wow wow wow!!! What a wonderful choice for a golf course to play while vacationing in Colorado Springs. A short 30-minute drive North of Colorado Springs takes you up into the hills outside the city. First-class facility. Right from the very beginning everybody was friendly starting with the cart guys out front loading my clubs to the gentleman inside to check me in to the starter car girl. Everybody was just super friendly. Good-sized driving range pitching green and practice putting green on site. Snack bar right near the clubhouse and the first tee to stock up before you head out. Since I was a single I was paired up with three other golfers two of them were local gentleman. We had a good time together. The golf course was in excellent shape. The fairways were easy to hit off of the rough with penalize you if you got in too deep. The greens ran true and smooth. There's a lot of undulation, a lot of movement on The Greens at this course. I don't think any of them were flat so to speak. and spending a day on their Golf Course.
