All three of the boys in my family (10 year old, 5 year old, and husband!) have been attending Rodness' Martial Arts for the past 3 years. After experiencing the Taekwondo and Ji Jitsu classes I can honestly say I have never seen an instructor so experienced, patient, and kind. The boys are so lucky to be able to learn under the guidance of such an incredible teacher. Mr. R teaches them not only martial arts skills but also every day life lessons regarding respect and discipline. This has been the best experience for our family!

This is a great place for Martial Arts. We've been with Mr. Rodness for several years and our son loves to be in his class. He is great with the kids and has run a wonderful program for every level. I strongly recommend this place for the beginner as well as for advanced levels too.

We tried several types of activities with our 10 yr old son, including other martial arts classes over the years, and this (kids BJJ) is the only one that we (as parents) and our son have really loved and stuck with. Mr. Rodness is an excellent, experienced and passionate teacher. The kids get a ton of hands-on practice with peers and receive a lot of feedback from the teacher. I highly recommend this school.

My child is able to manage his emotions and build physical strength through taekwondo, which is really great. Every time at the gym, the slogans 'modesty, courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit' are heard. Above all, Rodness Master is kind yet disciplined, and exudes a sense of experience and expertise, which makes me trust him even more. I highly recommend it.

I have been receiving private BJJ lessons at Rodness Martial Arts, and I have to say, Steve is an incredible teacher. He truly knows his stuff and his expertise in BJJ and MMA is evident in every lesson. If you're looking for genuine MMA knowledge and want to level up your experience, I highly recommend this establishment. Steve's teaching style is both thorough and engaging, making each session highly valuable.

The best martial arts center in town if not in California! Mr Rodness, the main instructor being a two-time US Taekwondo champ has all the mastery, hard work and energy. His enthusiasm is very infectious and has the very best patience for young kids as well as adult newbies. I am currently enrolled along with my 3 sons and we enjoy each meeting two or three times a week. I highly recommend Rodness' Martial Arts for anyone looking for an excellent martial arts school.

We've been with Mr. R going on 2 yrs. He's great with the kids, and my daughter enjoys his class. It's a great program. The class schedule is great for us after school, and he's been flexible with regards to belt testing.

I absolutely love attending kickboxing class. The class size is a perfect fit for me to learn the skills and goals I have set for my own personal growth. The instructor provides techniques to ensure safety. I have met many great people so far. It’s amazing to see how far I have come as a beginner. I would recommend this to all different levels.
