The best place to learn self-defense in Brooklyn. The community is great, they will help and encourage you. It is a good place to meet like minded people. It is a safe space for beginners like myself. Instructors are amazing and will help, and answer all your concerns and questions. Staff is also great, they are very transparent unlike some other gym/training centers that wouls give you a hardtime with fees, and membership concerns.

Marco has a particular way of teaching that makes him unique. He teaches from the heart with great passion and gives us that confidence to improve.
I love that class, with the passion that Marco teaches he makes us all motivated, he inspires us to continue learning, each class is an adventure, it is like reading a novel that you cannot stop reading. Once you take a class it catches you, you are hooked and you can't stop attending.
When you first walk in there you immediately feel like part of the community, everyone is very friendly. My first instructor there was Harrison and he inspired me to go for more and improve every day. Harrison is kind and respectful.

Marco’s ground class is still one of my favorites, if not my favorite, classes. He’s patient, very instructive, and he blends a number of disciplines from the floor (bjj, strikes, submissions, etc.) into one unit of training.

Can’t say enough about this class. It’s gotten me far more comfortable in the ground, and I’m a big guy who avoided the ground classes at all costs before. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
