Super amazing place. I'm 50 and my son is 9. When my son saw me training, Hebsaid "Dad I want to do it too". I'm stronger, healthier, and more confident as a family protector.

My favorite place to be! My home away from home! This academy is not your average academy. You walk in and are immediately greeted and treated like family. This academy does not give you grungy gym vibes. If you’re looking for a place to go to build a healthier lifestyle, learn self defense and meet new people that will only elevate your standards and support you, check this place out!❤️?

I have been at this gym for a few months now, and honestly this is probably the best gym there is out there. They are super friendly and patient with their new/old members. Everyone helps each other! It’s really the best kind of environment to be in !

Excellent, multi program studio/dojo. Good facilities, great staff.
I like the options available. Want to do gi bjj? Of course. Muay Thai? Several nights a week. No gi? Grappling? MMA focus? All available, and some options for almost any schedule.
They also have an apparently awesome yoga class that I havent checked out yet but hear great things about.
ALSO, they have excellent options for kids too. However, unlike some dojos, it doesn't feel like the adult program is a second thought. It genuinely feels like they care about both adult and kid development, without sacrificing one for the other.
If you've ever even thought about a combat sport, come by and check it out.

Great family friendly environment for training. Lots of class options and times from 5am to 8pm. Classes are great for all skill levels and have focuses on BJJ, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Yoga, Fit Camps, and MMA. They are open 7 days a week.

Coach Mike, Coach Austin, and Marco are absolutely what you need in order to fulfill your goals. The coaches push you to do your best, check in on you, care about your overall wellness, and are so fun! The family type atmosphere is so welcoming, especially for people like me who have anxiety about going to gyms. All the gym members are so friendly and supportive.

Alliance BJJ Houston has been a much needed reset in my life. Prior to joining, I did my research and learned that this place 100% the best place to train in town.
Not many places have a 6am class, but this place does at least 3 times a week! It’s also a WeDefy Foundation approved facility which is a big deal for the veteran community.
I’ve been able with a small group of likeminded warriors that train with me at 6am. This was something I was missing since leaving the army over a decade ago. Thus far, I’ve learned the following during my BJJ journey:
It forced me to recognize deficiencies not only on the mat but also in my persona. Things I did not know that had become part of me and I did not like. Thus, I am actively striving to significantly improve in those areas of my life (and the mats).
The coaches at Alliance BJJ Houston care about each and every individual — from the youngest person to the oldest. Whatever your goals are, they will help you succeed and work with you anyway possible. It’s more than a gym membership…it’s a family & support system.

I participated in 42 days challenge and attended min 3 classes per week. I achieved the goal of losing >20+ lbs. I mostly attended to the Muay Thai classes as those were better fit with my time schedule. Overall, it was lots of fun of doing warmup cardio and Muay Thai / Jiu Jitsu training. The environment is very nice and inclusive. Mike Leang taught Muay Thai, and he is an incredible coach who is also friendly and wise (he knows how much to train and how much push the limit). There were lots of variations of warmup or ending cardio’s that I enjoyed a lot (note: previously I used to hate cardio’s). I loved the small building blocks learning which then incorporated to the larger modules, -conditioning and practicing – that Mike used for training Muay Thai. Students are also inspiring and wonderful for practicing and sharing skills and knowledge. I am incredibly thankful to ABJJ for offering that 42 days challenge program otherwise I would probably never know about BJJ or Muay thai.
