I am incredibly impressed with HLPFC! My 5-year-old son attends classes here, and he absolutely loves it. The instructors are fantastic with the kids, making each class both fun and educational. They have created a positive and encouraging environment that has helped my son build confidence while learning valuable skills.

My son may be one of the smallest in his class, but he has grown more confident since starting, thanks to the amazing coaches. I see improvements every day. The coaches have also fostered a supportive community among the families and students, and it’s common to hear other families and children cheering for each other.

The facility is clean and well-maintained. I am so grateful to have found this gym for him. Of all the monthly memberships I have for my son, this one is the best. With three kid classes a week, this is also one of the most affordable activities. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place for their kids to learn martial arts! A big thanks to Coach Claw, Kelby, Will, and Karen.

The kids program is called Highland Park Friendship Club and it’s well named because the instructors are super friendly and it makes the kids have a fun time, and -shockingly- they’re engaged for the whole class.
It’s only been a few weeks but my kids are both already starting to show more confidence and are excited to go back.
The head coach for the kids, Claw, is pretty rad.

It’s so refreshing to see a clean school with a great community. Everybody is so friendly whether it’s your first class or you’re an experienced grappler.

The school’s style focuses on stand-up and wrestling, with incredible guard work sprinkled in. The head coach has a unique way of structuring the curriculum so you not only get your reps but truly understand why each position and defense is so essential.

The women’s program here is phenomenal, with at least one female black belt on the mats every night, plus countless other black belts sharing their expertise.

In a short time I feel my BJJ improving already! Can’t wait to see where my game will be in a few months!

My kids really enjoy coming here for Jiu Jitsu. The facility is big and clean, and the instructors are really wonderful. My children were very apprehensive to start, but now really love it and the confidence it’s bringing to them about their bodies.
