If you're looking for a gym that is straight to business, flexible pricing options, and 24/7 access this is the place. Been going just over a month now and I have no complaints. Ken, Jess, and Kim are all personable and professional. Equipment and facility is always clean. Bathrooms are very nice and the sauna is a great touch.

Love this gym! Kim and Ken have created a space I look forward to everyday . Fighting age and hormones left me in a depressed and desperate state with my upcoming wedding. I joined and invested in a longer term fitness training package with Jess. It's been one of the best decisions of my life!
In only eight HARD weeks , I can already see results physically and mentally. I can hardly wait to see how amazing I will look in my gown on my wedding day!

I was in Essex for a week with my family and was looking for a gym. Onyx was recommended to us by a few people so thought it was worth checking out and it did not disappoint! Kim and Ken were super helpful even before we arrived and offered the best customer service throughout our stay. We were very impressed w the space and the gym is very well equipped! Also appreciated how helpful another trainer (didn’t get her name unfortunately) was on the days we were working out - she saw me looking for different pieces of equipment and proactively pointed me in the right direction or offered to get me an attachment to help me. And loved how Ken and the trainer would say hi or bye as people came in and out of the gym. Was really lovely! Would highly recommend and will plan to return on our next visit. Thanks for everything!

Although we do not use Onyx facility directly, we have a great partnership with owners Kim and Ken! They have been so extremely supportive of not only our nonprofit organization but many other local businesses, organizations and events in Essex!
They have helped us raise money for our program and often include us in various events within the community! We can ALWAYS count of them for support!

If you're new to Essex area, this gym is amazing 24/7 access

I just finished a session with personal trainer Jessica, I had never used half the machines out of fear and not knowing how to use them. I'm now confident in my work outs now and ready to go on my own

While on vacation I was looking for a local gym I could go to. I decided on Onyx due to their 24 hour access. I met Ken (who I believe is the owner) and he was very welcoming and accommodating. The gym has all the essentials required to complete any workout you desire. The staff and gym members are super-friendly. A real positive environment. I HIGHLY encourage visiting these guys if you’re in the area.
