ABSOLUTELY FUN are all the makings of a wonderful coach which is exactly why Lo is my favorite. I started my boxing journey with her and haven’t looked back because she makes me want to keep pushing to be better…and punch shit ? I also love the golden nuggets she has at the end of each class that reminds us that we are just as powerful in the outside world as we are in the studio. Yep, I’m a LO stan and proud of it!

This place makes me renew my class pass every month. I cannot go without it. The workout is killer and atmosphere makes it my favorite workout place in La.

I highly recommend BoxUnion! My first time trying boxing, and I loved it!
Chelsea Martin is a great human being born to coach and motivate people! I came 10 minutes before the class started, and she gave me the rundown and demonstrated the elemental punches.
Next thing you know, the room is full of highly motivated people, bomb A** music, and I started to move my body quickly, throwing punches left and right. I'm a total boxing newbie, but I could still follow along and get a great sweat. You start by throwing punches without the gloves and then with them. There is also some floor work, abs, and total body movements. The last part is all you, baby, throwing punches and leaving everything behind.
The facility is very organized and neat, and there are cubbies with locks on them, clean bathrooms, showers, towels, etc. You can rent or buy their hand wraps and boxing gloves. If it's your first time, you will get them for free. You can also bring your own!

Parking -If you come to an early morning class, at 6 AM or 7 AM, you can find parking on the street by the meters, and you don't have to put coins in since it's free before 8 AM. This area gets bust, so if you come later, you will have to park in one of the lots nearby' there are plenty of lots in the area as this area is high tourist.

Wow - what a great workout. Alex provided great instruction, he was friendly and encouraging while also making us sweat. The community is so welcoming and encouraging. I am in Santa Monica for a few days and wish there is a BoxUnion in Chicago so I could take more classes!

BoxUnion is amazing, clean, and extremely welcoming!! The class was comparable to a dance club for boxing, the energy and vibes were top notch.
Coach Rico has an amazing energy and really knew how to keep the class motivated and on beat. He was very inspirational and knew when to give a little extra push if the class was slowing down and getting tired. He was super knowledgeable regarding all things boxing and included a lot of defensive movements in class, which often gets over looked. 10/10 would recommend his class to anyone and Box Union in general!!

Amazing studio with the right kind of energy to get you pumped up for boxing. There’s one room filled with punching bags where classes are held all day. Ample amount of spacing inside the studio so you have enough space to work out.

There are plenty of lockers in the lobby to keep personal items. The whole studio is sparkling clean, which is awesome cause you sweat within the first 5 minutes of a class.

Street parking favors early risers. But there is plenty of parking within a block vicinity.

Employees at the front desk are super nice and welcome you in with excellent energy. Totally worth checking out! Really good place to bring a friend to work out together.
