We only stayed for one night to sample around this area for our future trips. We had a good time, the room and resort area are well appointed and with friendly and enthusiastic staff.
The on-site restaurant was fantastic, although I'd prefer more local offerings and specialties, sourced from nearby farms and ranches. I don't plan on eating seafood in the desert...

However, I should point out that they had taken away the complementary self parking option... I understand it's pretty standard in most luxury properties, especially when it's space/traffic constrained but this hotel is in the middle of a literal desert, dealing with the valet every time I want to head out for a bit can be an inconvenience for me and I felt being "nickle and dimed" a little bit, especially since they are already charging a hefty resort fee. Options are always welcome.

Really enjoyed this very welcoming hotel. We stayed here 3 nights with kids, and had a great time around the resort. The room (King suite) was large and the bed was very comfortable. Bathrooms were great as well, with nice views. The resort is quite out of the way, and a car is pretty necessary for this region. Service and valet staff were excellent - we especially had a great experience with the concierge team of two women who were incredibly friendly. The overall vibe was not too formal, although the grounds were well kept and the finishes and small details were good. Outdoor bar was nice and it was busy, but wait staff were just the right amount of attentive. Pools were a great time for the kids and the large waterslide is faster (and more fun!) than it looks in the photos. I would definitely stay here again, especially with kids and as a result of the friendly service.

Of all the Ritz locations I’ve been too, this location is top three! So good, we’ve been back twice from the east coast! The rooms were very nice, clean and well cared for. The staff is top tier and even accommodated delivering a whole case of water to our room. We loved both pools and the poolside drinks. Core kitchen is absolutely amazing. Great food. Can’t wait to visit again!

I come to Tucson frequently to visit my daughter and the Loews Ventana is one of my favorite places to vacation as compared to Ritz Dove Mountain. (And would be even if they were the same price though Lowe’s is half the Ritz and doesn’t soak you on every thing you do. The both are located in a breathtaking mountain dessert setting, with trails, cactus and gorgeous spots to sit down and savior the beauty. Loews is more informal and the staff local and fun. The Ritz staff are all from abroad and impeccably trained in their specific function. There are so many things to explore on your own in the Loews Canyon. The Ritz staff try to keep you dressing correctly and following the rules.

Uh… not sure where the 5 stars came fromMediocre st best. Dining at pool closes at 6pm when the heat lasts FAR later than that. For the price, pool should have sauna, steam, but only has a 4 ft deep pool? Definitely not very five star. The food is pretty good but def not great. Staff nice, helpful. Property out in the middle of nowhere so only real dining options are at the restaurants on property. I’ve stayed many places worthy of five stars. As someone who deeply loves travel, this resort was a “meh” for me.

My two childhood best friends and I had the most memorable hotel experience ever at the Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain the weekend of 7/11/24 to 7/15/24. From the moment we arrived on the property we were welcomed by the kindest individuals and we were blown away at the continued authenticity, attention to details, service, and kindness from EVERY staff member we came into contact with. Let me start off by saying my children had an unpleasant experience with some bullying/racial comments/pushing from some other kids (no fault of the Hotel). Madison who was a life guard saw this and stopped it immediately. She informed us what happened and we can't thank her enough for her standing up for our boys(6 & 7). The next life guard was also informed who apologized when my boys and I came up on the slide. Chris M is the banquet manager who heard about this and went above and beyond like I have never seen in my life. He spoke to the other children's family, took care of us and really ensured my boys were good. It did not stop there. Chris must have informed other staff of our experience and the attention and support they have ALL provided is unmeasurable. Not just at the time of the incident, but our entire stay. Holly and Anissa at the front desk also followed up with us and went above and beyond. Holly treated us like we were family even upon check out made sure we were good. Every single staff member took pride in taking care of customers. This service was the best we have ever had and it was unbelievable! High five to Alex, Aaron, Erin, and Charles as well who took service to another level.|If you have an opportunity to stay at this location, you will not be disappointed and worth every single cent. The attention they give to customers is 2nd to none!! We will 100% be back and again, probably the best hospitality experience we have ever had and we travel a lot.

I stayed at the Ritz last week for a wedding weekend celebration. The hotel was nice but it didn’t have anything luxurious. The rooms were big but they had a very loud noise at the room we stayed in so we told the receptionist about it & they kindly transferred us to a different room which we really appreciated. As for the hotel it’s very pricey & it’s in the middle of nowhere and far away from the city. As for the breakfast area it was ok not a lot of variety and it’s a bit pricey too. ||The hotel has a beautiful mountain view & plenty of cactus plants around the area which is a very beautiful scenery. Overall experience was nice and the hospitality management was really nice & quite helpful too.
